i need to get rid of my acne, quick. please help me. i know about pro active but is there anything i can use without buying stuff like creams. if not products are good too. at this point im desperate. anything will do. * automatic 5`s if you give me atleast 7 different ways to get rid of acne *

People think they work good because they have scientific words and say there's an ACTIVE ingredient. To tell you the truth, just wash your wash and it'll the same, if not,even BETTER than using those products. If you want to get something precribed from the doctor, then it's your choice as long as it has silicone, glycerine, or lanolin to replenish any lost moisture form washing your face. DO NOT wash your face more than THREE times a day! You might think you need to wash your face every minute to get rid of the oily stuff form your face but that just makes your body work 5 times harder to make up oil for the removed ones which would give you even more oily skin! First of all, the birth control pill really helps. Also Natures Cure helped me a lot. I know every body says chocolate doesn't cause acne but I break out but just to be on the safe side, I would eat junk food in moderation. Another thing is to clean your face with a mild cleanser at least twice a day. Don't over do it, but some sun exposure can help to. Before you go out though make sure you put on sun tanning lotion. Also keep your hair out of your face because the oils from your hair can get into your skin which can cause acne. Also if you have an oily skin probem like I do I would hold onto oil sheets which absorbs acess oils in your skin which can also cause acne. Hope I came of some help because believe me I've had my fair share of acne. I was once diagnosed with Acne Vulgaris, which is even worse than a bad case of acne. loves2shop86 answered Sunday April 23 2006, 10:08 pm: it's actually very simple... wash your face day and night with a good cleanser (i use l'oreal), and MOISTURIZE after you wash!! that's the most important thing!! if you don't moisturize, your body will create it's own oil, which will clog your pores and result in pimples!! lastly, when you get a pimple or feel one coming on, put some "clean and clear invisible blemish treatment" on it. it comes in a really small tube, but it lasts forever and it works like magic!!! but yeah once you do those things, you should deffinitely see an improvement. :) hope that helps! KELLY_ELIZABETH answered Sunday April 23 2006, 9:27 pm: drink A LOT of water [ aim to drink atleast 2 liters a day ] . reduce the amount of caffine [ coffee, tea, chocolate, etc.] . go outside in the sun [ it drys out pores , but dont get burnt - take a 5-10 minute walk a day or something ] . eat less redmeat and dairy [ redmeat is hard to diegest and creates acid in your body ] . less sugar & refined carbs [ refined carbs/sugar = more insulin = more hormones = more oil = more bacteria = more acne. refined carbs are like white bread, pasta, rice, flour, etc. ] . reduce stress [ by exercise - yoga or t'ai chi. or try meditation ] . fresh foods [ fruits, nuts, seeds, veggies ] . take out all the yucky oily foods [ in your diet ].
