broadcast journalism - that'll get you involved in TV and radio ... if you choose to go into a more specific newscasting ( i.e. sports ect.. .) you can add it as a minor , or depending on where you go, switch your major -
Hope I helped

You should try either Journalism or communications. Communications has a wide variety of minors in it, including broadcasting, advertising, and others, so that's what i would recommend. hope this helps

Broadcast Journalism or Communications.
My mom was a newscaster here in LA and now she has her own radio station. (KNX 1070 AM)
She majored in Video/TV Communications at Arizona State University.
Keep in mind that you have to enunciate really well and also, unless you live in a big city, remember that newscasters don't make a lot of money.
Good luck. ]
Journalism and communications. ]
You might go into Broadcast journalism or just communications. They both deal with that, but communications is a little more broad and deals with the writing aspect of it too. ]
I think your main course of study would probably be broadcast journalism. That would probably cover about anything you might want to go into. :) ]
