Dress Problems

Question Posted Tuesday April 18 2006, 11:53 pm

This question has been asked alot, but mine's a bit different. I need a dress for my 8th grade dance, it needs to be nice, somewhat dressy, bun not like, dressy dressy like a prom or anything.. if that makes sense =\

Any websites with cute AND affordable dresses?

Last time you gave me a horrible rating and said "i don't like to buy dresses on ebay"

Well... you should try it! There are plenty that are brand new with the tags still on them and incredible prices. I just got a brand new with tags Tommy Bahama dress for $29 - and it's $128 in the stores.

Remember just because you don't like the advice - doesn't mean it's wrong or bad!

(Sorry, i thought you were the same person from before) Thank you

Here are dresses at one prom web site for under $100. I know you said you don't want too dressy, but some of these dresses really are more semi formal, especially since they're cheaper than the average prom dress. Not to mention... semiformal dresses can definitely be worn to more than just an 8th grade formal, so even if you splurge a little bit and spend, say, $90, you'll probably still get good use out of it.

This is my personal favorite, and they have it in about 4 different colors: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Also, department stores can carry some pretty cheap dresses (unless you're going somewhere like Neiman's...but mostly I mean Macy's or something of that nature).

Kohl's always has nice cute, inexpensive dresses, or if you live where there is a Boston Store, they always have ADORABLE dresses. Hope I helped!
