My Room....
Okay, So my mom is letting me re do my room. I have three colors i would rlea ylike to put into my room.. pink, gray, black. I can do anything tha ti want so thats not an issue. Its just coming up with designs. My momwanted to do circles and i wanted ot do stripes. Im a 14 year old girl. I'm sorda girly but a totaly pink room would get old to quick. Anyways, my mom already did my room onc ebefore when i first got the roo and she said that shes never redooing it again so i have to be able to live in thsi room while being 14 15 16 17 and maybe 18. So please, any ideas, pictures, url, would be helpful. Any ideas where i like them or not will get a 5. If you say somthing stupid like pant it pink then no. I want it diffrent. I dont wnat it just one simple color. My rooms fairly big so i can do anything to it. Pleaseeee help!!!

Grey is a perfect neutral for the walls. If you did that you could do black stripes on the bottom half of the room, and do pink curtains. If your mom INSISTS on circles(mine would) I would tell her polkadot pillows would be cute. Throw pillows can have oodles of patterns and always look cool together. I sugest Recovering or adding trim to a plain black lampshade! Also, A project I am looking to do in my room is to find an old hanging fixture and paint it a flat color. This fixture could be pink black or white or even grey. Its super modern and super feminine. Look up painted chandelier on google. Its amazing what you can do with spray paint!

i would paint your room a light color... like light pink or grey or white... then add darker stripes or dots.. your pick.... then get tons of cute pillows in those colors and put them on your bed with a white bedspread... then just add small knink knacks and such that match... TA DA!!!! its brilliant.

I love poka dots. Polka dots... polkadots... however it is spelled. Anyway. You can paint the room either black, gray, or pink and add polka dots either black, gray, or pink. Or, for example, you can pain two walls facing eachother black with pink polka dots and the other two walls facing eachother pink with black polka dots. If there is a closet or the door frame or the door you can pain it gray. OR you can paint a wall with stripes, one with circles, one with spots (to make ti look artsy), and one with... shapes or one color or plaid or something.

well, first of all - its kinda hard to like design YOUR room. but heres some ideas.. pink gray and black are adorable together (good choice) you could prolly do like 3 walls either the gray or pink and the one other stipes. [ dont let your mom choose for you, if you want stripes - do stripes. but circles would look adorable too ] for the fourth one.. maybe something like this :: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) .. only instead of white - use gray. [although white looks cute too] im scared if you do all walls stripes then you will get sick of it., and if you do circles youll feel like your in bubbles. and im guessing you have a closet - so maybe if you have doors do the doors different colors. like the first one pink second black third gray and fourth pink or however many doors you have. then its like something different. ya? i hope i gave you some good ideas.

this girl i know that re-did her room did something really creative (or at least i thought). She painted the walls royal purple and a neonish green color. The opposite walls were the same colors. On the purple wall, she used the green to make paw prints and on the green wall she used the purple to make paw prints...it came out really nice and isnt too babyish...plus you dont have to use those colors or that design, you can do others, like pink and black with gray designs...but the stripes idea sounds really cute.
