You have to go to someone you trust and tell them right now. If you dont..it could go way to far. You write down everything you can remember and have it ready to give to the police when you call them with that person you trust. Tell no Force your parents to let you not be alone. DON'T BE ALONE. Especially after you call the police. Do NOT tell anyone other than that trusted person that you are calling the police. It could be dangeous for you if he finds out. Okay, So my mom is letting me re do my room. I have three colors i would rlea ylike to put into my room.. pink, gray, black. I can do anything tha ti want so thats not an issue. Its just coming up with designs. My momwanted to do circles and i wanted ot do stripes. Im a 14 year old girl. I'm sorda girly but a totaly pink room would get old to quick. Anyways, my mom already did my room onc ebefore when i first got the roo and she said that shes never redooing it again so i have to be able to live in thsi room while being 14 15 16 17 and maybe 18. So please, any ideas, pictures, url, would be helpful. Any ideas where i like them or not will get a 5. If you say somthing stupid like pant it pink then no. I want it diffrent. I dont wnat it just one simple color. My rooms fairly big so i can do anything to it. Pleaseeee help!!!

Grey is a perfect neutral for the walls. If you did that you could do black stripes on the bottom half of the room, and do pink curtains. If your mom INSISTS on circles(mine would) I would tell her polkadot pillows would be cute. Throw pillows can have oodles of patterns and always look cool together. I sugest Recovering or adding trim to a plain black lampshade! Also, A project I am looking to do in my room is to find an old hanging fixture and paint it a flat color. This fixture could be pink black or white or even grey. Its super modern and super feminine. Look up painted chandelier on google. Its amazing what you can do with spray paint!

Hi, my room is light green and white. Like the walls are light green & the trim & doors are white. Most of my furniture is white with green decorations and like everything in my room is green and white. So my question is, can I have multi-colored pillows or would it look stupid? (My comforter is light green & white stripes) because I have like ALOT of pillows but none are light green and white. oh and my bed is a daybed, so i usually put the pillows like all around it, like 20 of them and it looks good (the way they are arranged) but i dont know if i should get like 2 pillows that would match because thats all i can afford right now or use one sleeping pillow and none for decorations or what? thnx. Actually, its a really good idea to throw a pop of color(a pair of pillows) into your room. The cool thing about this is you really don't have to add those colors in around the room as long as your multicolor pillows have the green in them. If they have that, they match with an added twist. Rainbow stripes...pink and green floral... whatever you want as long as it has the green in it. I dont suggest doing that alot..but throw pillows is THE perfect place to have a little fun!

So, I'm in the process of doing my room and as of right now everything except my comforter is a solid color. I want to get something with a bit of a design on it to add some flavor. Urban outfitters used to make these unique lampshades with like, all kinds of colors and funky designs. The don't anymore. Do you know where I can find lamps/ lamp shades like this now? (link)

definately go get some plain round or cone lampshades and recover them. The options are endless and super aforable because even dollar general has plain lampshades! If your just going to cover it anyways, definately just go there.
If you dont want to make it yourself though. I cool Idea for neat lampshades are going to antique stores. You could probably find an inexpensive matching pair someplace like that.

Me and my boyfriend have been living together for about a year now, and I'm getting kind of bored with the way that our room looks. We've made a few changes (took off our closet doors, added some furniture) but I'm still not satisfied. The walls are a dull white, and the carpet is brown. I really want to paint our room, but it's hard choosing a color we can both agree on, or a design. I'm more girly and he's more neutral and calm. I suggest ideas, and he thinks that they're too girly so I really need some ideas that could work for our room since it's the both of us.
If you need an idea of what we're like, well, we're very similar. We're both heavily into music, movies & media. I really like fashion, reading and art. I really want something that could incorporate those but that could really be equal and not too overpowering. I don't want our room to be too feminine or too masculine.
If you guys have any ideas, could you please contribute them? I'm so bored of the way our room looks and we're looking to change it. Thanks in advance! (link)

Blues and greens are really trendy. I do not know which you like better but I do know there is a blue for everyone. If you put a medium tone-neutral (lighter browns or darker tans.. or GREY) on the walls and decoreate with a bright blue or a light blue it would be relaxed and airy. if you use darker colors it can become romantic. If you dont want blue...Kelly green colors could liven up the space. Bright greens are everywhere and there are so many options! I don't know how he feels about turquoise, but thats a great color right now too.

Alright, hi, I am 15, female. My bedroom is very.. pink! I liked it when I was little but now I want to repaint it and make it more teenager-y and chic. I am artsy, I love music, my friends call me a non cutting emo, haha. But I want to paint my walls like a reddish or a tan and put a really chic maybe brown lace border around the walls but I don't know how to decorate. I have alot of my artwork framed and hung up, but I just want more, family pictures, cool trinkets you can think of, anything will help. Thanks! (link)

You sound a little like me and my group of friends. If I were you, if the artwork you have is colorful, Go with a tan color. To spice it up and be really chic, pick a shade or three lighter and do even stripes on a single wall. To add some color, go to a thrift store and find a piece of furniture that needs some love...and give it a new color! The red you seaid you would like to add, maybe something very bright. You can buy cheap plain lampshades and recover them to match throw pillows. The most simple advice though is to keep it to the tan and one or to colors. If you go crazy you might end up hating it later. Florals are hot right now. With all the college dorm stuff out there...florals and stripes are super easy to find and very chic.
Also. Stay away from trinkets. They end up as clutter. Pick two or three good sized objects to put on a peice of furniture and stop.. If you dont to risk clutter.. I always had a problem with the trinkets..

Well, I wanna make my bedroom look more sophisticated. I have about 9 posters on one wall of celebrities. I was wondering how I could arrange it on the wall to make it look cool and mature. I was kind of hoping to take off 3-4 of the posters, but I think it would make the wall look bland then. any advice would be appreciated, thanks :)

I love the idea of big pictures on the wall. Abstract art posters are easy to find.. Or make! If you insit on keeping the posters though...Frame your favorites with molding (its easily paintable and relitively cheap) or to do something really cool. Take maybe two and cut them into 3 or 4 large peices and frame those kindove like a puzzle by putting one an inch under and off to the left and so on. It would be cool.

I used to be with this guy for 2 years.. and he fucked me over badly, he left me and didnt want a relationship anymore, i wont lie we were too controlling , i dont understand why he did that but i admit that it was wrong of both of us for being like that, we never even let eachohther have friends from the opposite gender it was so stupid,.. anyways after the breakup i realized how stupid i was and he did too, he cme back to me, said he regret it, and wants to be togethr, im stupid and ofcourse gave in, but didnt get with him yet, i told him it was gonna take alot of time to gain his trust, he told me hell wait til whenever i need, and then when i told him i was ready he told me to give it time, that im rushing stuff, he feels like we have nothing in common anymore, after 2 YEARS? we have nothing in common? just because he met other people, but we agreed to just give it time, he started calling me baby again, tell me he loves me, and were always talking on BBM 24/7.. he has not even talked about us for a while, were growing closer but he still hasnt talked about it, my question is.. i dont wanna get SO attached to him like i used to be.. and i got so hurt and heartbroken i cant even explain it, and i wanna finish it up, either were together or not, how do i bring this up, SHOULD i bring this up with him ? what do i say? its not fair that he left me and now wants to give it time.. its not fair to me, and i cant take going everyday wondering if im talking to him all the time and its not leading to anything, i need advice on what to do and what to say, i get really nervous when it comes to him. i feel like he has the upper hand, and i want to have more power, please help me.. thank you to anyone who took the time (link)

From where I'm standing.. sounds to me like you make better friends for each other than a partener to date. If you want to be in a relationship with him..I feel like you should have to fix or atleast understand the past before you can have a future that wont turn out the same. If you dont fix the problem that you ended your relationship with I will probably end the same again.

My brother and I have always been very close. We have a great time together and he is my best friend. He is going to be a sophomore in college this year. I survived him being gone when he was a freshman because I found I didn't think about him much when I was busy. However, he is leaving tomorrow and I am so so so sad. I always cry when he leaves to go back after breaks and stuff. I am crying right now because I am going to miss him so much. Any tips on how to not feel so depressed? I start high school in two days so that should help a little, but I am still so sad :( (link)

I'm having a similar problem as all of my friends go seperate ways for college. What we are trying to do is to set up a pen pal system where we can send cards and letters throughout the semester. You can always call or email but having him as a pen pal would be a just you and him thing. Then you coud have a touchable piece of him to see when he isn't home.
As for depression..Just remember that he probably misses you just as much. And he is always just a phonecall or text away if you need him right then.
