theme for room

Question Posted Sunday July 23 2006, 9:01 pm

Hi, my room is light green and white. Like the walls are light green & the trim & doors are white. Most of my furniture is white with green decorations and like everything in my room is green and white. So my question is, can I have multi-colored pillows or would it look stupid? (My comforter is light green & white stripes) because I have like ALOT of pillows but none are light green and white. oh and my bed is a daybed, so i usually put the pillows like all around it, like 20 of them and it looks good (the way they are arranged) but i dont know if i should get like 2 pillows that would match because thats all i can afford right now or use one sleeping pillow and none for decorations or what? thnx.

Actually, its a really good idea to throw a pop of color(a pair of pillows) into your room. The cool thing about this is you really don't have to add those colors in around the room as long as your multicolor pillows have the green in them. If they have that, they match with an added twist. Rainbow stripes...pink and green floral... whatever you want as long as it has the green in it. I dont suggest doing that alot..but throw pillows is THE perfect place to have a little fun!

I would suggest geting some coordinating fabric and wrapping your old pillows...if they're small, you can even buy remnants...fold the fabric over like and envelope and pin them in the back (should take only one safety pin each)

Get multi colored pillows and 2 pillows that would match. Nothing else.

I think that multi-colored pillows will look fine. The only thing is you would have to incorporate the colors of the pillows in your room with flowers and a vase or a throw pillow so the pillows wouldn't look random.
