So me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a year and a half. We have been through some tough times but have made it and are happy. We tend to fight over stupid things and he can be pretty immature at times. Well recently the subject of marriage came up again. We have talked about it and I said that someday if things worked out and we both were ready that it would be a good idea, because we both can see eachother being together. But out of the two of us, I am better at handling money and I am very clean. He can be sloppy and doesnt always spend his money wisely, so I could see how being married to someone like that oculd cause some major problems right away. Well he is joining the Marines and is trying to ask me to marry him this summer! And I don't feel ready but feel like he pressuring me too or else! So please help me figure out what to do. Cause I am so lost... (link)
Go with your gut, always. Going into the military is a huge undertaking, and puts a lot of strain on a relationship- which is why a very large percentage of young Marines end up divorced.

Many people get married young and live to regret it. If you love each other, you can take the time to make sure you're ready to make such a big step.

Heya, its my birthday next week and ive been planning a huge party at my house. Im 14/15 and have already informed about 40 people about my party and Ive asked my parents if they will stay out for the night (from about 6pm to 11pm, not ALL night)and my brother is coming down from university to supervise it. People i know are bringing booze and i know someone who is bringing a drum kit round and my brother has 2 guitars that we're all going to jam on, and im going to supply food and soft drinks..but i keep thinking ive forgotten loads of things.. I want to know:

1. How to convince my parents to the idea of leaving me for 4 hours with a bunch of 40 teens
2. How to persuade them to let a lot of them sleep over
3. Any tips on throwing partys to remember!
4. Whether to supply back-up DVDS incase it gets boring
5. How much to spend on food and what foods go down well..for bout 40 people
6. How to break it to them if I cant have that party.. :-(
7. What to do about the neighbours
8. How to control trouble if it happens

I have loads more i cant remember but any hints n tips wud be very helpful ty

Are you honestly asking advice on how to convince your parents to let a bunch of kids drink unsupervised? You do understand that if you carry out these plans, your parents could be jailed for allowing it to happen?

hi i was jsut wondering. i LOVE polka dots and my parents nad i are redoing my bedroom polka dotted. the colors are my two favorite which are orange and pink. now i just need to find a comforter and i cant seem to find one. tis ok like if the comforter has like another color besides pink and orange but i want the majority of it to be pink and orange. or like the background is white with dots?? i dont know. so like by any chance can you help me find any? If you have some sewing skills (or know someone who does), you can make a comforter cover from sheets, which would be easier to find in your colors/pattern. (if you can't sew, you can use a large needle and stich them with yarn using a blanket stitch, would take less than an hour.)

Hi, my room is light green and white. Like the walls are light green & the trim & doors are white. Most of my furniture is white with green decorations and like everything in my room is green and white. So my question is, can I have multi-colored pillows or would it look stupid? (My comforter is light green & white stripes) because I have like ALOT of pillows but none are light green and white. oh and my bed is a daybed, so i usually put the pillows like all around it, like 20 of them and it looks good (the way they are arranged) but i dont know if i should get like 2 pillows that would match because thats all i can afford right now or use one sleeping pillow and none for decorations or what? thnx. I would suggest geting some coordinating fabric and wrapping your old pillows...if they're small, you can even buy remnants...fold the fabric over like and envelope and pin them in the back (should take only one safety pin each)

I need some basic feng shui tips.
A website would work. (link)

Hey everyone. I really want to do my room in a tropical hawwain kinda theme. I've been to websites like pbteen.com, wakeupfrankie.com and stuff like that. But everything is too expenceive. I want to put effort into buying things but I don't want to spend all of my money on like, 2 things. Please Help!!!! If anyone knows where I can get some cheap (and cute!!!) topical things, please tell me! thanks!!! (link)
Find a neighbor with a palm tree if you can...they're usually more than willing to un load a few leaves...you make a tree with these and some coconut fiber/burlap from the craft store.

Some beach chairs if you want a casual look...

Hey everyone! well my room is tropical and i really want a little tropical, tiki hut kinda thing. But the problem is, my room is not very big and i want a short one and not to wide. I would use it as a kinda hang out for when friends come over. i would also put a couple of pillows on the ground so we could sit on them under the hut. also i would put those little hang lights around it and under the hut put a little table for drinks or magazines or something. so does anyone know where i could find one not to tall but not to wide eaither??? thanks!!!!! love ya all!!!!!

p.s. i would also need a base w/ it. thanks! (link)
I would get one of those umbrella toppers (the fake grass sort) and some thick bamboo poles, you can use some of those cheapo bamboo sticks (both from the hardware store) to construct a little 'hut.'
