when i plug my camera in to my comp to upload the pics, a thing pops up and lets me click to upload to my comp you know. well what if i dont want to do it that way. is there another way??

There are other ways yes,
like if you have paintshop pro
or photoshop programs
you can always upload your pictures through there, just go into the program and click like file upload from camera.
