Prom Issues

Question Posted Thursday March 9 2006, 2:25 pm

I've been working with this guy for like 4 months now and we seem to get along quite well. I don't know if he has a girlfriend or not, but the signals he gives me, tells me he does not. The thing is that I am 18 and hes 16. A lot of people have a probelm with the age thing, but i don't, i think hes mature for his age. (thats y i can't ask my friends this) Anyway i don't have his email or anything but we're good friends at work. Would it be weird if i asked him to my prom? and if not how would you ask him? thanks in advance

Just ask him. I know someone who's 18 and has a b/f that's still a junior. I personally don't think it's that big of a deal. Just do it. Simple enough.

And, to answer your second question, uh..just ask him. If he likes you, he'll say yes. If he doesn't want to go with you, maybe he feels too shy or whatever, his loss.

hey if you`re interested in him go for it. if he has his license decorate his car or something. be creative and cute. the more effort you put into it the more likely he`ll be to say yes.

There's nothing wierd about asking a guy from work to go to your school's prom. There's not a huge issue with the age difference between the two of you as long as your parents are okay with it. Two years shouldn't be a huge deal if you're a mature girl who can handle your responsibilities. (Which you obviously can since you have a job.) Just ask him the next time you're working together if he would like to go to prom with you.

If you like him, ask him. Its nobody's business what his age is.

If you want to bring him to prom ask him if he is involved with anyone. If he says no then ask if he would take you to your prom. Ask him at work.

Good luck, hope he says yes. :)
