Hey there! Currently, I'm experiencing feelings of disinterest towards the things I once enjoyed in life.... It's like, I don't really care for school, when it used to be the most important thing, and it seems like, the things I once valued so highly and such, like my ambitions aren't as important as it used to be. Is there anything wrong with me? What may I do to change this perspective?

Just so you know (no offense ment) but onyl nerdy people acctually enjoy SCHOOL. unless you mean friends and stuff. thats normal to eventually get bored of.
I went through somethign of this sort...just relaxe take a break from life and think things through. get things in order.

I'm presuming that you're a teenager...I think it could be "teenage angst" or "hormones" playing with your mind. I'm in the exact same position as you, you're not alone. But you MUST think positive thoughts before you become in a permanent state of how you're feeling now..which then could develop into depression or something.
So, chin up :)

please write back if you need more clarity with my answer
storageanddisposal answered Friday March 3 2006, 5:53 am: This is a common problem and usually a temperary one. It's a big early sign of depression. If you find yourself uninterested in anything or you feel this feeling getting worse, I would talk to a counselor about it. A lot of people try to cope with such feelings, but ultimately make it worse by keeping it inside. [ storageanddisposal's advice column | Ask storageanddisposal A Question ]
