Love_Backwards answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 7:24 pm: like everyone else has said, singing lessons/school chorus/ practice! but if you dont want to pay for singing lessons, their is an easier way. go onto on demand, and there will be a button that tells you all these things you can do. they have singing lessons, and it basically gives you singing lessons for free! its really helpful.

orphans answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 7:14 pm: lessons-> teachers will give you feedback on your voice, which is pretty good. you could also join the school chorus, church choir, but singing lessons are the best way [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
smallbutsweet90 answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 6:56 pm: the only thing to do is practice! join a choir, get private lessons. practicing on ur own can damage your vocal chords even more. and the hwole drinking milk thing, i dont kno where you got that but thats completely wrong. drinking milk doesnt effect how good you are. you just shouldnt drink milk before a concert because it coats the vocal chords. lol but yeah o would say practice =) [ smallbutsweet90's advice column | Ask smallbutsweet90 A Question ]
fish34 answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 6:50 pm: Practice practice practice! That is the key to singing. Practicing will get your vocal chords and diaphragm strong. You should get a singing teacher who can show you the proper way to practice. :) Good luck!! [ fish34's advice column | Ask fish34 A Question ]
Jessie1218 answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 6:47 pm: You are absolutely correct that you don't have to be born a good singer! One important thing that you can do is take voice lessons. The teacher willl tell you how to control your voice, how to sing in pitch, and will give you a lot of other helpful advice. This will help a lot!
Good Luck! Hope this helps! [ Jessie1218's advice column | Ask Jessie1218 A Question ]
advice-anyone answered Wednesday February 8 2006, 5:28 pm: Your right. You dont have to be born a singer to sing but it doesnt help if you're born tone deaf either. Try practicing controlling your breathing by underwater breathing or timed breathing. Take up singing lessons. Listen to the music, then practice, then practice some more. Don't smoke. Eat Healthy. Exercise. Before you go on sing/perform you should drink a glass of water, a spoonful of salt (to kill bacteria in the throat) and a cap full of vegetable oil (to moisten the vocal cords, not syryp or honey). Thats all I cant think of. [ advice-anyone's advice column | Ask advice-anyone A Question ]
