dorinflower55 answered Tuesday February 7 2006, 9:15 pm: well i asked my friend the same question and she sent me this site [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
look on the bottom of the page, where it says, 3 ways 30 days or something. that might help
besides that. you can jog or run a couple miles a day, or every other day. do crunches and push ups every night before you go to sleep, and don't eat junk food. (or at least less, if you eat alot already)
i think there is also that special k cereal thing, that you eat 2 bowls of ceeal a day (instead of 2 meals) and loose up to 6 pounds in 2 weeks. i don't know if that is healthy or not. if you want i can look into it. just ask me (if you want)
orphans answered Tuesday February 7 2006, 7:19 pm: welll.. so yeah, basically, you should eat smaller portions and eat healthy foods.
for example: eat more fruits and salads, but do eat meat too.
eat alot less of everything
& excersize. run alot and do sit ups and crunches =] [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
Alin75 answered Tuesday February 7 2006, 5:39 pm: The no carb diet sends shivers down my spine. I believe the idea behind it is that it is very difficult to burn fats and protein (as opposed to carbs) and your body uses energy in doing so.
The problem with it is that you end up eating lots of saturated fats which are bad for you, lots of cholesterol (ditto), and overall you arent getting the proper nutrition your body needs. Perhaps most importantly it is not a viable long term nutrition plan and that is absolutely key in keeping the weight off. One of my close friends lost lots of weight with it. Then he regained it. Then he lost it again. All in all he "lost" weight 3 times in his life, and he is fat again now.
Anyway, if you want to lose weight, be healthy and look great, I recommend first and foremost to join a gym. Doing weights will do wonders to your metabolism (which aerobic exercise does not do). Naturally if you can do a cardio once in a while thats even better.
Then eat many small meals each day (4 to 6), as this too will help boost your metabolism.
Eat balanced meals, low on fats (particularly saturated- eg. from butter, cheap oils, fatty meats, cream etc), moderate on carbs, moderate to high on protein and high on greens. Stay away from empty calories, primarily from foods that contain lots of sugar, junk food etc. Also remember to drink plenty of water. Time your last meal to be a few hours before you go to bed.
Figure out how much you burn depending upon your activity level each day and then aim to eat about 400 cals below that number. Dont starve yourself as this will have an adverse effect on the metabolism.
You actually dont need to do anything extreme. If you just increase your activity level (play a sport if you absolutely hate going to the gym) and get a bit of discipline in your diet the weight will come off without much effort. [ Alin75's advice column | Ask Alin75 A Question ]

Xo_Blondii_oX answered Tuesday February 7 2006, 4:52 pm: This is waht i have been doing.
I lost 15lbs the first 2 weeks then 35lbs total in 5 months.... and I didn't get sick or unhealthy but whatever.
anyways here it is:
No more then 20 carbs the first two weeks
No more then 40 carbs the next two weeks
then 60 all the way up to 80 carbs
What you can eat (basics):
-Salads (no ranch dressing ... check carbs.. make sure its under 4 carbs)
-Cheese (check carbs)
-Hamburgers/cheese burgers without bun
-Eggs/hard boiled eggs
-whip cream
-caffeen free coke (even t hough coke has no carbs its still bad)
-coke zero
-bakon
-sassege
-chicken
-cheesee of pizza
-pork rines w/this onion dip i think
-those are jsut some ideas theres alot more you just have to make sure you have under 20 carbs a day.
What not to eat(basics):
-Chips
-Bread
-Milk
-Regular Coke
-Candy
-Pizza
-chineese
-mcdonalds (you can have most of there salads just not th eone with breaded chicken)
-just make sure you stay under 20 carbs...if your parental unit says its unhealthy then sorry bout that. ... but it worked for me. If you workout and do crunches and jog you will lose weight faster and more inches or whatever around your waist.
