ohk i want to know what i should do. i had gym on thursday and i have it before i go home so i have to change and i left my bookbag in the locker room cause our lockers arent very big so i left it sitting out like everyone else does and inside i had my purse which had my ipod and digital camara inside and someone stole it. poor fucker. but what should i do? i already talked to the school with my dad and the police got involved but what can i do on my own?

I'll tell you from 1st hand experience as they make me file these goddamn reports all the time at my precinct that most of the time the merchandise doesnt show up. Its recommended with stuff like an ipod that that you engrave your name on it since at least theres a name on it and if someone wanted to steal it in order to make money off it, no one would buy it. Its possible that a camera could have picked it up on some very off chance but thats your only real hope. No witness, no evidence- no chance. I hope you prove me wrong and it turns up though.

They usually have cameras right outside the gym not inside but outside maybe they can view the videos..

If I were you I wouldn't go talking about it and asking people because the person who has your stuff may freak and lash out at you or something. But if you see someone with your iPod or camera or something that didn't have one earlier tell the police and your dad so they can investigate farther!

try to think about who would go in the locker room after you left. obviously, its a girls locker room, so a guy probably didnt take it. that knocks off about 1/2 the people at your school...look for people using ipods and if it looks like yours then just ask to look at it..and if it is just take it back. =) but you really cant do anything unless someone knows who took it..or unless someone confesses. ask your gym teacher who went into the locker room after you left. ask the people in your gym class if they know anything.

You can try making posters that say, "Lost Purse Please help find!"
You could always ask all people if they've ssen anyobdy with a purse of your description.

All you can do is go around asking people if they've seen anyone with a new ipod and digital camera and confront the people. This really sucks for you lol. Have your friends try to help you find the person who stole it also. Good Luck!

well, the good thing is you told your parents and the police got involved. i lost my tiffany jewlery, solow oe utfit, my earrings and my cellphone in the locker room. just my luck. i found it all! someone will give it back in once they know the police are involved. i dont think there is anything you can really do on your own though, since you dont know who took it. if you have any questions. leave them in my inbox. sorry that i wasnt much help.

really there isnt anything else you did something really stupid and now you are paying for it. alls you really can do is wait until someone does something. maybe you can try posting signs up saying missing ipod and camera reward but i doubt that will help because who is going to give that stuff back for like $20? next time just put the camera and ipod in your locker!
