I just watched the ring last night and there's something confusing me. Why did samara's dad say "my wife wasn't supposed to have a child" did he do something to her to make it so she couldn't have children???

Hey!!! Its cause she cant have children and he never expected to have kids. Then she addopted Samara and after she did all those weird things were happening in their house. Like with the horses.

haha they never really cleared that up. im confused about it too. i think he wasn't fertile and that he felt insulted when the mom adopted samara. it made things rough between the mom and dad.. so that's why she had to chose marriage or the child she loved. so when she she killed samara she felt guilty, she knew she was wrong, so she jumped off a cliff.

well she mightve just had some complications so she couldnt have a baby. there are many causes, but sometimes you get lucky.. so maybe she did have a complication with something but got lucky so she had samara. but the dad said that i was inpossible because she did have a complication.
i dont know thats just my view on it. im sure there are some other oppinions toward this too but yea lol hope i helped :P
