FunnyCide answered Friday January 27 2006, 5:11 pm: Nope. At my semi-formal, the only thing that was different was the sort of clothes we had to wear. There were fast songs - like Latin dances - cha-cha, swing, quick-step, tango, east-coast swing, polka, etc. There were also slow dances, like rumba, waltz etc. And there were line dances and group dances.
But I'm homeschooled, and we have a large ballroom dance class, so almost everyone knows those dances.

The music is the same at all dances, unless there is a theme.
