me and this one girl have been best friends forever.. and she got into a huge fight with my other best friend about 3 months ago.. now i hear shit from the both of them about the other ALL THE TIME and one of them is mad at me because they say that i hang out with the other one too much.. but i dont! i just try to make everyone happy!.. what should i do?
First of all, if you're best friends with both of them, then you should sit down with the both of them and talk to them about it if it's bothering you that much. I know that sounds like the dumbest thing you've ever heard because you know that they'll probably just be catty towards eachother, but it's worth a try.
You'll be the better person by possibly stopping the never-ending fight. Hope this helps!

manda_xoxo answered Thursday January 26 2006, 5:56 pm: just tell them how you feel about it. say how you dont like being stuck in the middle of their fighting, and your friends with both of them.. if one of them start talking to you about the other just say im friends with her please dont talk about her to me. they might get a little mad at first.. but they will soon realize they shouldnt be..
hope i helped

You need to tell them both...I am friends with both of you. From now on I do not want to talk with either of you about the other. We can talk about anything else, but not my other friend.
If you are asked by both to do something, do something with whoever asked you first. That is fair. If you want to let the other know, just say I can't go __ with you because I was already asked to do __ with other friend. She asked first. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
