Ok, so we put my dog, maddie (she was 16 yrs.), to sleep about 3 or 4 yrs. ago and i reely want a puppy and my mom and dad have been saying no, but now, my mom has changed her mind and wants one, but my dad doesn't wana to get one b/c he thinks i wont take care of it and i promised i would! what should i do to convince him i would take care of it?! Well, the way that I got my parents to get my sister and I a puppy was to actually babysit the kind of dog that we wanted, and my dad grew to love that kind of dog! Hope this helps!

me and this one girl have been best friends forever.. and she got into a huge fight with my other best friend about 3 months ago.. now i hear shit from the both of them about the other ALL THE TIME and one of them is mad at me because they say that i hang out with the other one too much.. but i dont! i just try to make everyone happy!.. what should i do?

Wow, you pretty much explained some of the things that are happening to me!
First of all, if you're best friends with both of them, then you should sit down with the both of them and talk to them about it if it's bothering you that much. I know that sounds like the dumbest thing you've ever heard because you know that they'll probably just be catty towards eachother, but it's worth a try.
You'll be the better person by possibly stopping the never-ending fight. Hope this helps!

omg. my best friend in the world is being a slut. i mena i love the chick to death but her ex-boyfriend who used her then broke up with her to have "fun" over the break are doing any SEXUAL THING U CAN THING OF. theyve tried haveing sex 3 times but dude. the guy doesnt even like her and isnt planning on even asking her out. and shes inlove with him. hes such a man whore and i told her that she can pick up desises and stuff like that but she acts like she didnt even do anything wrong. i dont know how to tell her to stop without coming off as a controlling freak you know. I LOVE HER TO DEATH but i dont want to yell at her and make it to where she cant tell me stuff anymore. PLEASE HELP! what do i do.

Okay, first of all, I know from experience that calling her a slut won't do anything, but make you lose your best friend. Trust me, if you're really afraid that she's going to get some disease, then maybe the best thing to do would be to talk to her parents about it... You never know, that could be the one think that'll make her stop. I mean, she's only twelve for god sakes! She's got her whole life ahead of her and shouldn't be doing anything even close to what she's been doing! Hopefully your friend will soon understand how you feel, or if she doesn't then maybe she's not a good enough friend to listen to your concerns... Hope this helps you out!

I understand how you feel because the same thing happened to me like that over the summer (I'm the same age as you). This guy is probably confused about how he really feels about you, and just has to sort everything out. You should try talking to him at school, or writing him a note telling him how you feel because nobody deserves to be treated like that. Good luck!

There is this guy that I really like, and I think he may like me too, but my shyness is holding me back. I don't have any classes with him, so it's hard to just start up a casual conversation without sounding stupid. And none of my friends are his friends, so it isn't like I could casually join into a conversation. I wrote him a note once, but I didn't even have the guts to hand it to him myself, so I had my friend do it. I think Nick would like me more if I could show him that I'm not afraid to talk to him. I'm not really "afraid" of talking to him. I guess i'm just very nervous of what might happen because of it. (Like me sounding like a total dork) Any tips or anything...? lol, thanks! (link)

I kind of had the same problem as you, but I've conquered it! The best way to get rid of your shyness around him would probably be to get up the courage to talk to him. If you're way too shy for that, then maybe send him hints that you like him, for instance, smiling at him in the hall if you pass him. Or try to get his attention some how. Good luck!

ok so on friday, my freinds and i are going ice skating. i told this guy who i know and we flirt together all the time. I like him but I don't want a b/f right now... I just want to flirt. So, he is coming as well with his freinds and of course we are going to flirt like crazy. So this boy that I have liked for a while now is getting to me. Actually he has always been playing his little games. But this one made me upset. He told one person we were going out. No that’s not the part and than my friend was like oh are you too going out and he goes yes and she goes aww that’s so cute and he goes yea id tap that.. If you don’t know what tap that means..leave..just kidding. So than I was like kind of happy and i was like oh so were kind of going out. So I call my friend kara cause I want her to call me with him and she goes oh well he’s going out with this girl _____.My heart sank to my feet. Yea they went out in the past for like a week and they recently broke up . I was devasted when they even began going out cause they both knew I liked him . So this story has more to it. Well, you may like that guy, but to me he seems like a complete ass. I'd stay away from him if I were you. Try hanging out with different guys around you. Hope this helps you out!

Well, dandruff can be a pain, but they have a new shampoo out there that can get it away. I think you might have dandruff because maybe the shampoo you're using now is drying out your scalp. Hope this helps!

There is this guy (let's call him Bob) and he's really really cute. If you really like this guy, then I suggest you tell him. If you're really worried that your friend will get mad, then I think you should tell her right now instead of maybe hiding it from her. Hope this helps you!

Ok so I have these 2 best friends, they are always soo clingly, they do everything together and i hate it!!! Like one day I came to school we were all cool and everything, the next day they were mad at me for no reason!! Then the next day I went to ask them what was wrong and the "leader" of the two (one of them follows her every move) said they were just kidding! I was so upset. They always talk about me behind my back too. They even tell me they call me abd names behind my back. The same thing is happening to me right now too. I guess you should just be nice to them, and don't be mean. Hopefully it will all blow over soon. Everyone is just trying to find their place, and soon they'll realize that they really do need you as a friend!
