When will he make a flipping move?

Question Posted Wednesday January 25 2006, 7:57 pm

Hiya, my name is Diane I'm 13. I really like this guy, lets call him Tom. Tom and I used to hangout every Friday and I mean we've kissed and stuff during spin the bottle but it has never ment anything. In november i was at my friend Joe's party. Joe was with his girlfriend, Joe's other friend John was with his girlfriend and I was just with Tom like walking around this park we went to. Since we were alone we talked alot and he put his arm around me for a good 10 minuets...until I kindof push him off. Anyway since then we've been really close friends. We flirt all the time even when his girlfriend walks by (one girl dumped him cause of that). And he tells people he wants to hangout with me, but I want him to make a move already I mean i'm probably sending mixed signals or something but how do I get him to make a move?

You can't. All you can do is drop painfully obvious hints and hope he picks up on them. OR you could make him a cake that says "I WANT YOU" in icing letters. Either way should work.

Hi there :o) Well maybe you should tell him why you you pushed him off after 10 minutes with his arm around you... Tell him you like him alot and then just see what he does... It sounds like he likes you!

GOOD LUCK!!

If he is 13 he may just not be ready for that kind of thing yet. You shouldn't rush him. Girls mature a lot faster than guys do.

It probably also didn't help that you pushed him away after he had his arm around you for 10 minutes. You may need to explain to him why you did that. He might have taken it that you were not interested.

Talk to him about it. If he isn't ready yet for that though, don't push him into it. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA..... sorry to laugh hun but you sound like me at 13. Dont rush anything hun you still are 13 and trust me boys around 13 up to 20 lol are horny and perverted some may try to take advantage. When the time comes hell make a move when he feels comfertable. Maybe hes just one of them people who like you as a friend with benefits type thing. But what im saying is dont rush anything your to eager to grow up yet trust me i tried that and i ended up preg. spin the bottle is all fun and games and i know it hurts seeing othrs with there girlfriend or boyfriend but when they break up hell come to you in good time.
Hope i helped write back anytime.

i think that you should make the first move. he might not feel that you want to make a move but it seems like he likes you so he probably DOES want to do something. either that or he's waiting for the perfect time.. valentines day is coming up, ya know!

i think you should just make your move first..it sounds like he probably likes you if he wants to hangout with you all the time.. you said you pushed his arm off of you, so he is probably confused on whether you like him or not.. maybe you should tell him and make it clear that you do like him and then maybe he'll make the move then.
good luck with him though =) hope i helped

well he might just be nervous...you shoudlnt wait for him to make the move, make it yourself! if you wait too long, he might get the idea that you dont like him as more than a friend and lose interest...dont let that happen!!! <33 danielle

You can't GET him to make a move, but you can talk to him about it. Thats what I do with guys, if I want a guy to ask me out or something I'll talk about it with him, be like "yeah who do you like" or something. Right now, to me it seems as if he likes you, but doesn't want to ruin the friendship. He is probably thinking the same thing as you and doesn't want to seem stupid by making the first move and you maybe turning him down. I would give him more signals that you are interested in being more than friends with him.
Hope this helps
