I'm also faceing the same problem as you.

Try your local Publix, they hire at that age, send in an application, every so often.

Try local(Or family) owned busisnesses.

Right now, I'm just sending applications like a crazy women. :)

Trying your local bowling alley, some times, they need a 'party attendent' to help plan little kids partys and watch over them.

I also make pretty good money, from babysitting.

Also, a little tip, if you do get an interview, make sure you look nice and professional, they don't want someone who is ready and willing to work. Etc.

Good luck.

Hey why not volunteer or babysit do some work ion your community or babysit a cousin or a neighbor if you are responsible and adults trust you you can get a job around your neighbor hood like dog walking. and if you dont find one then ask for an allowane by doing chores that you may not do everyday. but good luck there a jobs everywhere and even if you cant do any of this just enjoy not having one cause one day your going to get a job that you may hate hang out with your friends you only get to be a kid/teen oncebecause once it gone it gone. good luck

Ah, 14 is going to be tough. The best thing I can suggest would be delievering news papers, and maybe you could do some work at a library or animal hospital - though they may see that as volunteer work and you wouldn't be paid.. However, you'll never know until you ask! Also, you should check with any little local antique stores or Mom & Pop pizza houses. Also, I know Wendy's and Subway hire at *15, but I suppose that's not help to you, is it? Aside from that, there's babysitting. Try making a bunch of fliers and distributing them on the bullentin boards at your closest couple of grocery stores; free advcertising -- that's what it's there for. However, baby sitting is a serious matter. Make shore you know exactly how to perform CPR on infants and toddlers in case of emergency, and once that is all settled, you can add that to your resume. Call them crazy, but parents are more likely to give you their business if they feel their child will be safe with you... How about selling things on EBAY? Also, lawn mowing! BIG money to be had there; generally $10.00 - $30.00 per GOOD sized yard.

its usually harder getting a job at that age.
try getting involved in babysittining..like if you have any family friends or neighbours that have young children offer them your services as a babysitter..you could also go to your local mall and ask any stores if their hiring and ask for an aplication. but you need to get a social security # first

I'm sorry to tell you but the only job you can probably get when you're 14 is babysitting or running errands. Most places hire you when you're 15 or older. I think it's required that you have to be 15. I know, it sucks when you need money and you can't find any jobs or whatever. You can shovel people's snow, babysit their kids, and you know, jobs like that. I hope I helped. Good luck with earning some extra cash:)
