The Pill, shot, patch, and a ring you place in your vagina. I would recomend the pill. Its easy to take. You take it every single day for 3 weeks and on the 4th week you should have your peroid. The sunday after your peroid is when you start up on taking the pills again. Pills are easy to take just remeber to take them everyday. And you will always know when your peroid will be. I tried the patch and thats a hastle. I dont recomend that. The shot usually makes you gain weigh, about 20 pounds in one year! The ring just doesnt sound like a good idea!! hope I helped [ cougar123's advice column | Ask cougar123 A Question ]
alleycatt726 answered Thursday December 29 2005, 7:48 pm: well all birth controls are different. the most common one is the pill which i am on and its supposed to make you stop ovulating so theres no egg to be fertilized if you have sex. its also regulates your period and might shorten it. some girls go on BC to regulate their period or to prevent themselves from getting pregnant or both reasons. you just have to go the doctor and they will figure out which kind you should be on. hope i helped. tasuki answered Tuesday December 27 2005, 9:30 pm: Different birth controls work different ways. Most BC pills screw with your hormones and stop your period and give you heart disease. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
