what kind of medicine helps sore throat, and coughs, and runny nose
i do rate high so please help me okay and if you give reasonable advice I will rate you high
FunnyCide answered Tuesday December 27 2005, 3:16 am: Ok.
I would say to take Sudafed, but that bothers me (makes me have headaches and makes my head spin and makes me feel worse than I already did).
Take Benadryl.
Tussin DM for the cough.
Throat Spray or cough drops will help the cough and sore throat.
If you're running a fever, take an Ibuprofen or Aleve or Advil.
If you don't get better within 3-5 days of being sick, go to a doctor. You don't want to have the flu. I had that earlier this year (February) and I waited too long to go to the doctor and I had the flu and pneumonia at the same time. It sucked, because I was sick over Valentine's day! And pneumonia makes you feel a zillion times worse anyway.

Well, the normal Dayquil & Nightquil can help with the cold all together..But the sore throat and coughs can be helped with Friut Breezer Cough Drops(they taste sooooo good) or things with Vitamin C or Zinc in it..orange juice?
feel better!
