They are probobley getting tarritorial and wanting all attention to themselves. So make sure you dont give one more attention than the other. And feed them in spereate rooms. I dont think its a death-fight, its just to see whos stronger. Don't let it get out of hand. Dont worry.
SomeOneCelestial answered Sunday December 18 2005, 12:43 am: Here are some ways..
-Take two different towels.. rub one cat to one towel and one to the other. Once that is done, set the towel under the food bowl of the opposite cat. This way.. the cats have to smell each other.
-If you have 2 kennels, at night, put the cats inside the kennels and set the right in front of each other but about 3 inches away. This way, they are always seeing one another at all times, but they cant reach each other. If you do this at night, you might want to put them in a separate room from you, because most cats will whine.
-Vets usually will tell you that cats will become friends when you turn around. They do it on their own and when no one is looking. Vets suggest that you clip their claws til the white area is gone. Dont go all the way to the pink area though, it will make them bleed. This way, if they get into a fight, they wont scratch each other. Mercy_x_Me answered Friday December 16 2005, 6:00 pm: Get them used to eachother. When I got a new kitten and I had other cats, I was told to take a towel, rub the cats, and then with the same towel rub the kitten. It should help them get used to eachother's scents. This way they don't see eachother as "Different" or "enemies". I don't know if your situation is the same as mine but you should try. [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]
orphans answered Friday December 16 2005, 3:18 pm: the best thing i think you should do is put them in seperate rooms, WHERE THEY CAN SEE AND SMELL each other. then they will get used to each other. this has worked for many people, and if not you, you should talk to a vet.
