to help you reach higher notes you should sing exercises with those notes really, not songs, exercises can ease you into the notes allowing you to sing higher where songs often jump and can damage the voice if it isnt prepared.

try singing scales with some kindof repeated decoration to them if you get what i mean.

If you have your heart set on songs tho, perhaps try how do i live my leanne rymes (sp) or any other songs with scales going up to the high notes.

Take care, dont sing if it hurts or sounds bad because that will permenantly damage your voice. xx

In general, Broadway musicals are going to give you a high range. You can take any song an bump it up an octave to make it higher. If you are looking to increase your range, I would advise buying a choir warmup book with CDs (Singing for Dummies is a great one, and it even has a CD) and doing that. Let me know if you need more help. Are you currently an alto, soprano, tenor or bass? Let me know and I can provide more assistance!!

Wicked the broadway musical..It has a lot of high notes that are hard to hit but you can hit them if your singing the right way..thats how you can tell =) The CD is called 'Wicked' and its just a really good CD =) Also, you can try some of vanessa carltons songs or kelly clarkson..Make sure you warm up your voice before you sing anythng like that though =)

well christina is great and all but if you try to sing like her, you will destroy your vocal chords...notice we havent really heard from her lately. if you want a classic sound, try some kind of opera or the good ole national anthem or popular church music (no joke, those are demanding). goodluck! <3
