GYNO...Confidential?(sp?)
Hello
i really need an answer by wednesday night becuase i am very scared. im 15/F and i am going to the gyno for the first time and i am not a virgin anymore and i was just owndering if when they ask do i have to tell them and if i tell them will they tell my mom or can i ask the doctor to not tell my mom. or can i jsut say i use tampons? im reaslly scared becuase i do not want my mom to know! PLease help me..i rate high!

There is nothing to worry about just answer the questions truthfully and nothing bad will happen if u dont want your parents to know then tell them not to tell your parents or u could tell them. I mean im sure they will understand, they know our not ganna be a virgin for forever.

Well they will ask if you have had sex. They aren't suppose to tell your parents anything that you say to them. Don't be scared. IT's better to be hontest with your gyno becuase if something comesup they have all the information. Hope I helped.

If you ask the doctor not to tell your mom, he won't. What you tell the doctor is meant to be kept secret. They don't want you to feel pressured into having to lie, so be honest. They can usually tell if you have had sex before anyway. So honesty is the best way to go.

don't lie about not having sex. the gyno will bring you in a room one on one and question you, and she'll ask if you've ever had it. tell the truth, because she'll tell you it's private and she won't tell your parents if you don't want them to know. (your parents leave the room when she questions you.) there's nothing to worry about! = )

you dont have to tell them...they cant really tell whether you are or are not a virgin..there are certain things they can look for in your body that might be a result of that but you can just say you use tampons.. aslo its confidential so they cant tell your mom. good luck

well I'd advise you not to tell them it's just from tampons. Just incase there is something going on down there, ya know? You can tell them anything. I went there for my first time a few months back, and they told me that they CANNOT and WILL NOT tell your parents anything, unless you personally give them permission to. She had to do some tests on me as a normal procedure because I was going on birth control, and she said that she CAN'T send the results through the mail without my permission, and that I'd have to wait till my next appointment or call to find out. They will ask you if you're sexually active, and if so, how long you have been. I promise you they won't tell your mom anything unless you tell them it's okay. :D Goodluck!

I go to the GYN, and they told my mom. Sorry to say this but they are going to tell your mom no matter what. May I ask why your mom is making you go there? Because if it's that she is thinking that you are sleeping around the doctor can't keep what the whole purpose why your there from her. I'd tell your mom before she finds out that you lied because maybe she asked you before are you a virgin, did you have any sextual contact, I'd deffinately tell her before tomorrow. Hope I helped. Well, gyno's go.. up in you lol, so their gonna know rite of the bat if ur a virgin or not, but i wouldnt worry because by law they can't tell your mom. Im sure they wont even mention it. They have tons of girls your age who have had sex before come in everyday, so they dont even think twice bout it. good luck!

It is against the law for your doctor to tell your mother anything..so when she askes tell her you're not! Trust me, she deals with girls much younger than you who are not virgins! You're mom won't find out...and you should take this opportunity to talk to your doctor about things you cna't ask your mom or friends! Good luck! ♥ caitie

hey this is a really hard one and well just tell her that truth. i know it sounds gay but do it she might except it better if it comes from you and not a docter. plus she has to understand everyone messes up. just talk to her and she might just understand

The doctor will not discuss anything you tell him/her. Now is the time to get any of those questions that you have been wondering about answered. If you want to make a list.
Be honest. The doctor can give you some very useful information. You will not be judged.
Don't be scared. It will be fine.
