Question Posted Saturday November 26 2005, 2:09 am

Has anyone ever tried MAC [liquid] foundation? If so, does it work pretty good & is it worth buying? And what kind?

My mom has used MAC products for years and she LOVES them. She uses the liquid foundation, too. She raves about it and always tells me to buy it, but I currently am not working so I don't have the money to buy it. Haha.

But overall, I know she loves MAC and I'd recommend it because my mom knows a lot about make up.

I'm not a huge fan of liquid foundation, but I really do like MAC foundations. I tried the Studio Fix LIquid Foundation and I just loved it. I have oily skin too and it worked just fine.
Definitely worth the buy. It's SPF 15 too. Abound 25 dollars; so it's pricey, but I think it's worth it :)

I'm a big fan of liquid foundation because I feel it has a fuller coverage than powder foundation. I personally like all the sheer coverage ones. It's not too heavy and it still feels & looks natural!

Keep in mind - it also depends on what kind of skin you have and what you prefer! Go to Macy's or Sephora and try it out! I love Sephora because you can tell the people there what you want and they can help customize a whole line especially for you and your skin!

its not a foundation you would want to you if you have oily skin but if you just want to try it out,go to nordstroms and theyll usually give u the shade u need in a small sample, or if they dont you can but it there, and if your un happy they will except returns-hope i helped!

I don't personally use it.
But my older sisters friend, all of her make up is MAC.
She loves them and she always says how she loves there foundation and lipgloss!!
So, I'm guessing it works really good! lol.
&& plus, all the celebrities wear MAC.
So, I would try it out.

Hey

I use mac foundation sometimes. It's actually really good foundation. It works for me so yeah it's worth trying. I personally use the water-based liquid foundation.

Combines medium coverage with SPF 15. Provides a fresh, natural matte finish. Layers up, lasts long: helps protect the skin all day. Non-oily. 21 shades. Best way to baby your skin!

I personally don't use MAC foundation because I don't need it, but a lot of people I know use it and love it. Most people tell me that when you put it on, it feel s light and airy and lets your skin "breathe". I've seen that it really covers up any acne scars or blemishes of any kind. Even though you still have to wash your face before putting on any makeup, (given!) MAC moisturizes your skin and makes it feel younger. Most celebrities even use it! Such as: Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Oprah, Missy Elliot, etc. I would really recommend using the creme-to-powder version.
