I got some hatemail in my inbox today. What would you say to the jerk who sent it if it was sent to you? The jerk said I was gay and ugly. Can you help me?
supfoo answered Saturday November 26 2005, 2:22 am: ppff! Babe, dont let it get to you. just ignore them or put them on your block-list. if you show bad feelings towards them then they'll know they are "winning" so be like thanks, yo :]
Xfoxcutie09X answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 11:02 pm: well im not gonna cuse because last time i did that i got my account suspended but just tell them to leave you alone and if they have a problem with you then they need to say it to your face and not through the mail. just be as mean as possible. ncblondie answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 12:57 pm: First, I wouldn't respond to it. The person is just trying to get a reaction out of you. By ignoring them, you're taking away their fun.
If it's on another email site, I would suggest filing an abuse report with the provider. Providers take abuse reports and hatemail very seriously. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]

xOHunni-2-HelpOx answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 7:03 am: hey hunni
was the comment based on some advice you gave? if yes...
i'd just say if your not happy with my advice just say so but is there any reason to bring what you think of my looks in to it? this is an advice site not a picture sharing or bitching site.
if no....
ignore it. people like that are not worth your time. They obviously have nothing better to do than to critisise you.
or you could...
send back a sarcastic comment to them
But most of the time when people like that leave a message about looks ETC they are out to hurt your feelings or get you to write back to them.
SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Wednesday November 23 2005, 1:18 am: well if you were truly ugly sum1 wouldnt have taken the time to point out the obvious... meaning that they are probably jealous of you... and get pleasure out of putting others done... if i were you i wud just ignore it... TheHeadHonchoPoncho57 answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 11:04 pm: First, crack a sarcastic, insulting joke in response. Just brush it off. Don't give this asshole the pleasure of thinking that you're angry and/or upset. Then report them. On the sidebar of the homepage, it says "Report Abuse" under Miscellaneous. Write the URL of the question and tell them that you want to get *sender of hatemail* banned. [ TheHeadHonchoPoncho57's advice column | Ask TheHeadHonchoPoncho57 A Question ]
malibubarbiie111 answered Tuesday November 22 2005, 10:48 pm: just get them banned && don`t reply. when you don`t let it get to you. its better than going off on them. its show you are mature && you aren`t effected by stupid words [[that are not true]] [ malibubarbiie111's advice column | Ask malibubarbiie111 A Question ]
