I would just like to find out how my daughter and boyfriend can get help regarding there son (10months) getting injured at Nursery, burnt by boiling water on his hand and top part on arm(wrist).
This has caused a great deal of inconvienience to them taking time of work and travelling to the hospital to change dressing every 2nd day. This has also caused stress on my grandson and my daughter?

The child shouldn't have been allowed to be anywhere near the boiling water. the licensing board will review your complaint and may even pull the daycare's license. You can go to the site below to find licensing information as well as contact information for the licensing board in your state. Also, when you report them, ask if there have been any other complaints lodged against the daycare center. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Then, like younggrandma said, I would consult a lawyer about filing a lawsuit against the daycare center. Make sure to keep all the records relating to the child's injury.

I think also you should consider sewing the Nursery school for first off having hot water around little childern, and i think that in the Nursery School they should have child supervision at all times!! especially the younger ones they can gte really hurt and this little boy is probably scared for life now. so all i can say is try and do what i said it helps because this is so wrong!! I am sorry this happened to your grandson and daughter and boyfriend.. write back [ stargazzer887's advice column | Ask stargazzer887 A Question ]
MELiixMARiiE answered Friday November 18 2005, 1:57 pm: Well first of all I would seriously consider hiring a lawyer and talk about sueing the hospital for some money to pay for the hospital bills and for the care for his injuries and such. Why the heck would they put boiling water near a baby?! I would also suggest to your grandson and daughter to possibly take a little vacation somewhere. Just to go somewhere to get tehir mind off of it and to relax and let the stress go down a bit. Or maybe you could possibly find someone else to watch the baby for you. I'm sorry this has happened and I hope your daughter and the baby and the boyfriend all feel better soon. [ MELiixMARiiE's advice column | Ask MELiixMARiiE A Question ]

Well for this kind of help you are better off asking the hospital or your doctor.

I would hire a lawyer and sue the nursery for the hospital bills, plus lost wages, and the pain and suffering of the child.
Why on earth did they have boiling water where a child that young would get burnt by it? How irresponsible.
