Make-Up Hi,
I am 19, blonde and VERY pale. I consequentially can't find any decent colours of make-up - if I wear anything too pale, I look wishy-washy as I already have fair hair and skin. If I wear anything darker, I look gothic and I have nothing against goths but that's not what I'm going for :) Does anyone have any suggestions for some natural-looking make-up? Or some colours that may work? I have grey eyes, if that helps.
Thanks!
P.S. This has to be suitable for work, as I am a nanny and don't want to scare the children in my charge lol! On the other hand, some ideas for going-out make-up would be good too :)

im a boy and all, but i think maybe if you went tanning? make it a little darker skin and then maybe you'll have a bigger variety if make up to use? just a suggestion hope i helped . ]
well for your skin, i would just get a shade of foundation a little tiny darker or some bronzer and maybe apply some blush to your cheeks too. And for your eyes, wear really light colors. Light gray or blue would probably be the best considering your eye color. I might also suggest going to a store or something and you know how they have those make-up artists there? Try and ask them what foundation would go well with your skin and have them help you with some make-up and maybe have them put in on for you =] I hope I helped!

I have two ways you can find the look you're looking for.
Experimenting on your own:
I'm also very pale. I usually use a little bit of coral blush or bronzer every day to give my face come depth. I also use brown eyeliner and mascara, because black is too harsh to use against light skin. I use lighter eye shadows too. Sheer poweders and frosts work out alright because they give the illusion of color without making anyone look garish. Find the look you like yourself.
Going to a makeup artist:
The best way to make sure you get the colors that are right for you, is to schedule a makeover at your local department store. This is also very handy if you have problem areas that you want to cover ie. scars, birthmarks, etc. Stands like Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, and MAC will do them and then help you with other looks that suit you. Just keep in mind that after they do your makeup, they expect you to buy the colors they used on you. However expensive the makeup might be, it's a lot better than anything you just pick up at a drug store. Sometimes to achieve the look you want, you have to drop the cash.
Good luck and happy shopping :)

i think mabye if you wear a lite shade of blush but before you apply go to sephora and get all around tan thing like a typer of blush to put on your face called concealer from bare minerals. Also why not try a purple or pink glittery shade of eyeshadow and dark glossy red lipstick ]
It's very tough to give good advice about make-up without actually seeing you. However I am very pale as well and find that very dusty pinks, or light brown-pinks work best for my face.
I'd suggest you have your colours done by a professional though, at a department store or a salon. They will have alot better tips then anyone here I bet. ]
I use to be a makeup artist in New York. No one can give you good advice on makeup unless you are in front of them. The best advise I can give you is go to a local department store. In the cosmetic department there are all kinds of makeup lines that can give you the best advice for free. The makeup lines I know of that you could go to are, Mac, Clinique, Perscriptives, Este Lauder and more. Just walk around and look at the lines and see which one speaks to you. You could also go every day and have them all make you up. You could then decide which one you like the best. Have fun with it.
Good Luck!

Answer: First of all, do not use a darker foundation to make your skin look darker. It will just look like you are wearing a mask. You need to find a foundation that matches your skin color.
As far as blush is concerned, I'd go for a soft reddish brown to add some warmth to your skin. Or if you like the more pink shades, go for a rose colored blush.
For your grey eyes, choose pinks, lighter browns, mauve, silver, gold, peach, and purple. If you don't want to wear eyeshadow, I think a blue eyeliner would bring out the color of your eyes.
As for lips, you can never go wrong with gloss! ]
Hey hun..
Well for your pale skin i`d buy a shade darker in foundation so you have more color to your face.. also for your eyes i`d wear mascara to bring your eyes out a little bit and maybe some eyeshadows such as light colors or blues and grays.. don`t get dark colors.. that would work around kids or going out your not over doing it and your still pretty.. also if you would like to bring your eyes out more maybe wear some eyeliner but if it makes you have that goth look then stick with what i said earlier.. also every girl has to finish off make up with LIPGLOSS.. ♥ DEz ]
