Last saturday I went on a "date" with my guy friend Jake. After we went out to eat, we sat in his car for a few minutes and just talked. I've never hugged him, or anything. But we were sitting there, and I put my head down to pick something up when he touched my hair and said, I love your hair. you look so beautiful with it. After that I was like, omgosh he's the best guy ever! Is this normal? Like just from him touching my hair and telling me I look beautiful - like I think I'm really starting to like him.

aww he sounds wonderful. yes that is perfectly normal. you should get to know him better, and DEFINATELY let him touch your hair more..hehe.. maybe more dates with him, will get ya'll alot closer.

how cute! omg yeah this is so normal! actually it isnt.. its hard to find a guy who will compliment you and tell you that you are beautiful and not hott. I personally would say that you liked him before, obviously since you went on a date with him, lol, but with him saying that you're realizing that you like him a LOT. Just take it as a compliment, and continue spending time with him. It's always nice to be complimented once in a while. (=

you might just be feeling even more feelings then you were before. previously you have had feelings for him right? but nothing major. now that he sees you as beautiful and flirts more often you can make a move but just make sure. go out with him again and again until it just feels right.... or possibly not right, but whatever one you choose will be better for the both of you.

yeah, that sounds like a normal reaction. hell, I've used the "play with her hair approach" often, with good results. i guess there's something in girl's minds that equates hair fondling to arousal, i just think its fun to play with their hair. so soft and silky....
probably a connection between the two, maybe its an evolved trait.

It sounds to me as if your "friend" Jake is becoming to see you in a more different light. But don't rush this, you don't want to ruin a good friendship if things don't work out between the two of you.
