First of all, your best friend should know the girl code of relationships. Never go after a best friend/friend's ex, that's a no no. Depending on why you broke up w/ this guy, should be a factor if you go back out with him or not.

Ok, first of all my girlfriend and I are both sophomores in High School. We've been together for just over two months but we've known each other for almost four years and everything is going okay. But i'm in the middle of a depression right now and its making me reconsider a lot of things. For your information we don't have a typical on-off high school sort of romance. See we've determined that we are soulmates and intend to marry when we can (we even made these cheap little pretend rings to wear until then); in short, we're very serious for teenage romance. My question centers around the speed of the relationship. We've basically done everything aside from sex and being a guy, I feel I should try to get it to that point, you know? But for some reason all I really want to do is slow down. I feel if I tell her this, she will think I'm not ready for the kind of relationship she wants. And if she does, she might want to find someone else. My question is should this relationship take a step back or stay where it is now? (link)

You need to sit down and talk to your girlfriend. They say that if you let something go and it comes back then it's meant to be. So if she lets you go and you go back then it's meant to be. You guys are both young, there are too many things ahead of you now to determine if you are supposed to be married. Explore your options, keep your friendship and see where life takes you.

Okay this may seem strange but my friend is going out with my ex boyfriend and i'm really mad. Jordan (( my ex )) and I broke up in August and I really don't think that i still like him, that is untill my best friend decided to date him. I could've told her that it bothered me but I didn't! You need to sit down and talk to your friend. However if she was really a good friend of yours, she wouldn't have went out with your ex in the first place. Don't any of these girls now a days know that the cardinal rule of thumb is never to date your friend's ex without at least talking to your friend about it. Tell her how you feel about her dating him.

It depends on why your boyfriend is scared of what your dad is going to do when he finds out about the two of you dating. First of all, how old are you two? Second of all, have you done something that is the reason that your boyfriend is scared. Maybe you should sit down w/ your family and introduce your boyfriend to them if you haven't yet.

Ok, so tomorrow I am trying out for my school's cheerleading squad. I know the cheer and the dance really good, but I always get nervouse while performing in a group less than 5 people. We audition 2 at a time. Plus, my friend who was supposed to audition with me has decided not to try out at all. Now, what can i do to make it less intimidating? Last saturday I went on a "date" with my guy friend Jake. After we went out to eat, we sat in his car for a few minutes and just talked. I've never hugged him, or anything. But we were sitting there, and I put my head down to pick something up when he touched my hair and said, I love your hair. you look so beautiful with it. After that I was like, omgosh he's the best guy ever! Is this normal? Like just from him touching my hair and telling me I look beautiful - like I think I'm really starting to like him.

Be very careful of what he is saying to you. If he just got out of a relationship, he may not think that it is a rebound but it indeed could be. I was in the same sitaution as you at one time, the guy i was dating had just gotten out of something and was so attracted to me and everything however, when it come down to it a few months down the road it ended. My heart was broken because he dumped me and moved another girl into his house, just like that. I dunno if that will happen to you, then come to find out the girl that he's been seeing has a personal ad on the internet and everything, however me and said guy ended on not so good terms and i wanted him to know so i had a friend tell him. I guess what i am trying to tell you is to be careful, dont set yourself up to get hurt.

But anyway, I'm not the richest person you'll ever meet. I live my single mom, and my sister. We don't have THAT much money, but we're not poor or anything. I have like 2 hoodies that actually fit me, and that I like. And I have like 10 t-shirts that I wear. I really hate wearing the same clothes all the time, and I have like no hoodies (especially going into winter). I don't know what to do? I need some "fashion tips" I guess. I shop at Pac Sun and that's why I can't buy that much clothing at once, because of high prices. I like those kinds of clothes though, so where else can I get clothes that I like, but more of it?? Hello...do you seriously want to be with a man that disrespects you by calling you fat and telling you that you need to lose weight? Clearly, he's not the man you seem to thought he was and dear you need to drop him like a bad habit. You need to be with someone that is happy with you from the get go and not with someone that is going to tell you that you are overweight and that you need to lose it. Don't take him back even if he apologizes, just because he apologizes once doesn't mean that he means it and won't try it again. Be happy with yourself and when you are happy that way, the right man will come around and you will be happy, just you wait and see.

You need to sit down w/ your friend and carefully and calmly ask her why she flirts with your boyfriend, when she has one. Tell her that it makes you very uncomfortable and that you are sick and tired of it. Then you need to talk to your boyfriend and find out if he's interested in her, if he is, dump him and find someone else. Because you deserve better than a boy that wants you and your best friend.

It seems to me that your friend Michael is confused about how he really feels about you. I would try to get his phone number and give him a call so the two of you can talk instead of having others talk for you. Explain to him that you do like him and you thought that he liked you but the way that he did what he did has you all confused now and your not sure what to really do.

If your friend knows that you like him, she may just be saying that he likes her to make you jealous. If I were you, i'd come out and just tell him how you feel. There may be something that he's wanting to tell you too, but in the same boat may be scared because he may think your not into him. Just be honest with him, who knows maybe you will get together, if not you will still have a good friend.

First of all, i'm not asking this to be told to go to the doctor. I just need advice from people who might now what this is. Anyways, during the summer i had like a racing heart beat for two months and i felt weak but really nervous. I would fall asleep and then jump all of a sudden after like five minutes. It eventually went away, and last night it started all over. I could tell the symptoms. I felt really bad in the morning. Everybody thought i was sick and my heart beat was abnormally fast again. It eventually calmed down but i now it's still there. It's actually getting worse as i'm typing this. Does ANYBODY know what this could be or what could happen as a result to this???? My parents wont let me go to the doctor and i dont think the school nurse can help me. I have no medicine to take or anything. Please help me y'all!!! (Sorry its so long but i need help...) (link)

Go out with him anyways, who knows you may end up noticing some similarities that you two have and it may work out. If not, let him down gently and explain to him that you still want to remain friends with him and you dont want to mess up your friendship.
