parties

Question Posted Monday October 10 2005, 10:23 pm

Okay, I'm having this Halloween party and I don't know what to do, I told them to ware their costumes, and to bring some warm clothes incase it is cold, but I don't know what to do! There are going to boys and girls, along with my parents, little sis, and my boyfriend;) I don't know what we should do that would be fun for kids our age. We are all 13/14 and we want to just have fun, do you know what we could do? ( please don't make it expensive, my family doesn't have verymuch money right now.) thanks!

How about a night of scary movies? Or when it gets late how about some flashlight tag? I know that it might seem lame - recently I've really wanted to play, haha. Sit in a circle and tell some scary stories. With only candles lit around you. Some people play with the Ouija board for kicks too.

I qould vote on you watching a movie. Party games usually come off looking pretty little kiddy-ish at horror movies are great specially on Halloween.
I'd say throw some snacks out and a great movie. Your friends will be scared s---less and the rest of the night will be extremely fun because you'll all be jumpy from the movie.
Note: This won't work if the movie sucks so I recommend this site to figure out which scary movie to watch:

I also forget to caution you against old movies. That list has a lot of 'classis' movies but they might not be considered too scary by teens these days. Look at films made in the mid-90's and later.

well you could do like an that apple in the water thing where you try to fish it out with your mouth lol. thats always fun :D. Maybe soe creepy but good music to dance too and like a table with nice snacks on it that fit in with the halloween theme. You could also have a contest of like who has the best costume. Have candy dishes around the house so the guests can enjoy some candy. For more games, maybe some card games or what ever you and your friends like to do when you hang out.
hope i helped!!

You could always get a boombox. Play scary or party music. Have a table of food like snacks, chex mix, chips, celery and carrots with ranch, ect. Ask me for more info!

I did the same thing last year just throw on some old CDs and mabey a movie and provide some food and let the party flow on it's own. If you have any games or anything you can set that up to. One of my friends did a little bone scavenger hunt using construction paper at her party just let your parents do the hidding cause that girl also cheated.

You could all make a movie in the basement.

Get your father to film it and you’re under aged friends to act in it.

Remember to do whatever your father asks or you might find out how mum smudges her make up.

Hang around and talk at first, if you are inviting a lot of people, that surprisingly takes up a -lot- of time and doesn't get boring. You could watch movies and play Truth or Dare. One of my friends has a Halloween party every year, and she makes a list for a scavenger hunt. What we have to do is go to random people's houses in the neighborhood and ask for those items in small groups. This is actually very amusing, and you can make the items whatever you want. If you are looking for a challenge, try putting tampons and/or condoms on the list.
