report card
In elementary school I was a straight-A student. Suddenly in the 7th grade, everything's different. I am soooooooo disorganized! I always get the format for the HW wrong or don't understand the assignment.
I just got a progress report:
English A-
Science B
Math F
History N/A
Spanish C
This is sooooo embarassing! An F! Isn't it awful? I failed a quiz, got a B+ on my exam, and failed all of my homework, usually because it isn't in the correct format (the progress report came out before I got my exam back). I feel so terrible---I go to a private school and everyone gets A's! Am I stupid or something because I'm so disorganized? How can I be more organized? About how much more of the 1st quarter do 7th graders have? 7th graders, could you give me an idea of when it ends???

middle school is so much harder, the same thing happened to me. the teachers get tougher and expect more out of you. i really dont think your stupid, and maybe you are a lil disorganized, but your still doing well. okay? just try your hardest, study and dont let all the other kids grades get you down. just do the best that you can, and be proud of it.

dont worry your not stupid. 7th grade is supposed to be harder than 6th. your not always supposed to get A's. ask one of your friends to help you with the formats or just ask your teachers. you could also ask them if there is any way to make up for your work so you could bring up your grades. in my school 10 weeks=1 quarter. and if you need help with math go to www.math.com or www.webmath.com. hope i helped,

Oh! I am so sorry... I'm an eighth grader now and I know exactly how you feel. I'm a straight A student as well, and a few weeks ago I brought home a progress report with three B-'s in the three most important classes. Just remember that this is only a progress report and that you can change these grades at any time! Talk to your teachers about extra credit. If you find a 0 and you're pretty sure you turned it in, then ask your teacher about no - names or the possibility of them misplacing it (That happened to me a lot last year, especially with new teachers). I'm sure your teachers will give you a way to boost that grade! After that, do something really fun that will brighten up your mood - an outing for ice cream with some friends and maybe seeing a funny movie always helps me out.

well, im in highschool now, but i can tell you that i stopped making strait a's when i hit middle school. i started making them again when i hit high school...but you should go to tutoring. it doesnt mean your stupid, it means u didnt understand it the first time. and being disorganized isnt very good. you can get a's while being disorganized, but its REALLY hard. try to find a system that works for you. and your homework being in the wrong format, that sounds like maybe you have it in the wrong order, not that you dont understand. so just keep at it and it'll get better. let me know how your doing at report card...

your not stupid.You just have to work harder thats all.Work gets harder and tougher when you get into the higher grades, elementary school everything was easy and you got alot of a's i wish the work could stay being that easy as you get older but it isnt.So just try to study more,ask for help when you need it from like a teacher,friend,older sibling or parent.And get plenty of reast before a test day.And use study cards sometimes to help you remembering stuff.And do all your homework! Your grades are not that bad,just you need a little extra help in math.Hope i could help you out!

I don't think you're stupid. Just work really hard and make sure you follow all the directions. Be more organized by writing down what you are supposed to do and taking notes on which way to set up your paper. Talk to your teacher aand ask for help.Im not sure how much more work you will get, but probably a lot. The 1st quarter probably ends sometime this month. (October.)

well it depends on where you live and what county . if the quarter is up for you you need to tell your parents ! get a tudor or ask your teachers if you can come in 20 minutes early and have them explain anything you didn't get , they usually don't mind . if the quarter isn't up then ask for extra credit, do wellon any final exams and go in early , it will show them your making an efort and they may ease up on you a bit . your grades aren't terrible except for the math . if your in advanced classes you may want a schedule change .
