As in a long distance call? No you shouldn't get charged for that. :)

If you're talking about your cell phone, you call, and then you hang up BEFORE getting connected, as in before them answering or before voicemail comes, then you usually aren't charged because you haven't connected. Then again, my cell phone plan is cingular, so if yours is different then I honestly don't know.

If no one picks up or you don't get a voicemail/answering machine then no, they shouldn't charge you. Unless you have an asshole company. But usually they don't.

No, it shouldnt charge you unless the other person on end picks up the phone. It is marked as the call didnt go through (beings the other end wasnt on hand). If that makes sense the way its worded.
Simplified-
The other person has to pick up the phone for the minutes to start being deducted. So NO, it wont take any minutes if you ring once and hang up.

I don't believe so. I think it is only if the end user talks or if you talk to an answering machine. That's with long distance, anyways. It will cost you a cell phone minute.

Yes, you will be deducted the one minute, even if it only lasts 35 seconds..

If its a cell phone, that's usually a minute.
