Question Posted Monday October 3 2005, 3:54 pm

I just finished watching the Exorcist. Is this stuff real? Has this ever happened? I know back in Jesus' time it happened because he performed an exorcisms, as it says in the bible. But does or has this happened lately or around the 60s-70s? I have read many things and there are some stories of exorcisms being performed, but the weird thing is when I watched this movie I don't see how all those things can actually happen to someone innocent whom ingaged in the Ouija board a few times, how does it happen? Im so lost and scared as well.

hi to answer your question exorcisms are real, and for people to say its not is kinda weird i mean movies are always based on some bit a fact, well not a movies but most anyway. i know this cause my sister witnessed an excorsim and trust me it freaked her out, she told me some guy got possesed not by the devil but by an eveil gen if you dont know what those are their a kind of being that are mistaken for spirits, but their not cause their very much alive. any way i can go in to detail but ill just say that exorcisims are done all the time in diffrent parts of the world.

It's not real. It's entertainment. Don't worry. Ouija boards are bullshit anyway, so just don't bother with them because it's a waste of time. Although is you believe in that junk, there's a chance that you'll show symptoms because of your psychology, just like women who think they're preagnant (even though they aren't) often get morning sickness and other hormonal things.

Hello there,

Yes, I believe it is authentic.

The problem with what you said about the Ouija board is that a person who uses one cannot be considered innocent.

You are summoning a 'spirit' to posess your hands and 'guide' you.

What is innocent or ok with God about that?

If you are interested, and have a p2p client such as limewire, shareaza, bearshare or the like, search for "malachi martin" (without the quotes.)

You will be looking for a file called:

"Malachi Martin (exorcism) (complete) 18October1996.mp3" or something along those lines. The file could have a variety of names, but that will be the theme.

The file should be about 55 megs.

If that doesn't help you to understand, nothing will.

Something you should know... I have had some small exposure to this, and I can say this with certainty:

There is nothing on earth anyone could do to make me believe that these things aren't real after having a guy I outweigh by 150 pounds chuck me across a room with one hand.

I have no doubts.

If you have questions, feel free.

DangerNerd.

I am not sure about the reality of Exorcisms but I can tell you this:
The "exorcisms" you are referring to in Jesus' time were also people with disease such as skitzophrenia (sp) epilepsy and other disorders like mental retardation so the peoplke with these diseases were thought to be possesed and Jesus took away their disease. thats what some of the exorcisms are

AlienHumanologist answered Monday October 3 2005, 7:25 pm:
Although exorcisms have taken place, there are no such things as demons. Therefore, there is no such thing as demonic possession.
It is curious that humans enjoy works of fiction intended solely to frighten them, but one should keep clear in one's mind that they really are fictional.

Have no fear.

I really don't think so.

I remember when that movie came out. Was the scariest thing around. I didn't sleep all night after seeing it.

I was about 16 at the time. It doesn't bother me anymore, but man I was sure creeped out then. :)

IxAmxCrying answered Monday October 3 2005, 5:41 pm:
The movie is based on a boy from Maryland. He didn't turn green, and walk down stairs backwards like a crab. Vases flew through the air in his presence, and so did fruit. Eventually scratches, and the words "christ" and "hell" manifested on his body. This occured during 1949.

Here's a site on how one becomes possessed, and what to do etc.

Hey,
You shouldn't be scared. I saw the exorcism of emily rose and it was based on a true story. People just don't won't to believe that these type of things are real. The Devil usually chooses people that believe in God 100%. Just so he can get that satisfaction that he's turning that person against him 100%.

Good Luck,
Advicegodesse2

P.S.Write back and tell me how my advice was and if it helped.
