school dance and a friend..
ok im 13/F and my school dance is coming up, it's on friday 9/30/05 and i really want to go and a lot of ppl want me to go but my friend Halle wants to come over my big nice new house cuz i moved in a couplle weeks ago and all,well me and her have been planning for her to come over for over a week now and i really want her to come over but i really want to go to the dance on friday.the dance is 7:00 to 9:30 and her mom won't drive her over to my new house because it's dark and she won't be able to follow the directions that my mom has or will be giving her. I dont know what to do,what should i do?¿?¿? can someone please help me i rate 5's on good advice.

May be you can have her go to the dance with oyu and then have her sleepover that night that way you get to go to the dance an dshe gets to see your house. But if that doesn't work then try rescheduling to saturday or sunday.

just tell her that you have a dance she'll understand.....if shes your friend it shouldn't be a bd just have her come over on saturday!

we if i were you i would tell your friend that the school dances only come once a month ( they should) anyway then tell her that all your friends expect you to go and then apologize to her and ask if she can come over another day.

Your friend is going to have a lot of other chances to be able to come to your house. How many times do you get to go to a dance? Why not see if you can get her to go to the dance with you and then sleep over after it's over? That sounds like a plan. Then you can get both things over at once.
She might get a little steamed if you blow off plans you made with her for these new dance plans, so handle the situation with care. Personally and as much as it would bum me out I'd probably spend time with my friend first seeing how I already made plans. I can't just blow her off.

Ask if she wants to go to the dance too and then have her sleep over after or sumthin. If she doesnt want to go then you will have to choose, and if your school is anything like mine trust me there will be many more dances...

Why don't you both go to the dance together? Have her mom drive you to the dance and have your mom pick you both up and bring you home to stay at your new house?

maybe she should come home with you from school then you go to the dance together and her mom picks her up there. or her mom will drop her off at the dance and then she sleeps over so her mom can drive in the morning when its light out. if she doesnt want to go the dance, i guess you just have to invite her saturday. hope it helped:-)
