advice
ok im 14 and i was curious to see what it was like to smoke a ciggaret. And so i tried one and my parents found out, now they dont trust me to be home alonr cause they think i will try it again and i told them that i didnt like it and it wont happen again. plus alot of my friends do it so i wanted to see what was so cool about it. What should I do??? i rate high...
there is nothing you really can do...you made a mistake and now you have to suffer from your actions, you have to ask yourself what would i do in their position. they are only trying to protect you because they dont want to see you hurt. if they didnt care they wouldnt have done anything about it, they love you and they wont let you hurt yourself.
I am babysiting this realy anoying kid and his parents are realy mean to him. What do i do!!!!!!1
man...i had to babysit this annoying kid to at my last babysitting job, he kept jumping up on me and gave the girl i was babysitting really red shoulders from jumping on her and hitting her. You cant really stop him or yell at him because he would tell his parents you were being mean. and i get in your case you dont want to tell his parents because they are really mean to him. If i was you i would just make up reasons why you couldnt. if they always ask you a lot, just try most of the time say you cant. maybe they will stop asking. If you are in a sport, tell them you have a practic that day or a game. thats my excuse for someone i babysit for(but mine is true)lol. well, i hope i helped!!! good luck with the kid :)

Alright, well me and my best friend used to be really close, we did everything together! but since high school started we began not talking or hanging out very much. I think its good that we both have other friends but im afraid of loosing her...what do i do?
Wow...i had that exact same problem,with one of my best friends. are you a freshman because i am. but it wasnt this year. but anyways you need to ask yourself do i really want to stay best friends and be as close as we were in the past. if you do just make a point of doing things together, call her alot, and ask if she wants to do anything over the weekend...if you dont really care if you are as great of friends but you still want to be her friend, still try to call her sometimes and do things but just dont try that hard. you will still mostlikely be friends but you will probally not be the best of friends.Well i really do hope i helped. okay I don't mind if I sound like an idiot. I need an answer.
My computer got a little screwed up, whether it was a virus or I did something either way I had to erase everything. Actually, it didn't do what it was supposed to do since everything is the same except for the fact that everything is huge. like my web browser, font and my all my icons are really big. I know there is a way to make them smaller but I haven't done it for so long I can't figure out how to do it. I'm sure its easy but i'll be damned if I can remember how to do it.
so yeah... anyone know what I'm talking about and care to help me out?

. make your screan resolution go all the way down to less.

what does it mean to scrunch up your hair?... i know this is really random but i was just wondering.. lol
it is when you put something like gel or mouse in your hair when it is damp, and you litterly scrunch it up. it brings out the curl.

ok my hair is as straight as a board and i can never get it to stay curly more that like 2-3 hours. what can i do? i got a perm once and it stayed in for 2 weeks.
My hair is just like yours :( If i curl it it comes out even faster than yours. i have never gotten a perm tho, cause i am afraid i wont like it. my hair doesnt have the tiniest trace of wave at all. if you get any advise from other people PLEASE tell me what they say. lol. i know i didnt exactly answer your question. think of it more as advise. ;)

i was thinking about getting an ipod but i had a question. does it cost you money to get the songs or is it all inclusive when you buy it and can u put songs for like limewire on your ipod?
when you get an ipod you get software where you download a program called itunes. You can download music from itunes which is 99 cents a song. if you do have limewire you can transfer somgs from there to itunes, and then transfer them to your ipod. it is not all inclusive tho. but if u use limewire it will be free:) hope i helped.

ok im 13/F and my school dance is coming up, it's on friday 9/30/05 and i really want to go and a lot of ppl want me to go but my friend Halle wants to come over my big nice new house cuz i moved in a couplle weeks ago and all,well me and her have been planning for her to come over for over a week now and i really want her to come over but i really want to go to the dance on friday.the dance is 7:00 to 9:30 and her mom won't drive her over to my new house because it's dark and she won't be able to follow the directions that my mom has or will be giving her. I dont know what to do,what should i do?¿?¿? can someone please help me i rate 5's on good advice.

Okay so there's alot of ways to get over an X-BF, but how do you just get over a guy -who's done nothing to youy. Hes like the sweetest guy ever, who would do anything for me. So dont tell me to focus on his bad traits cause he doesnt have any. But i still want to get over him..cause there's too much temptation with him. He doesnt presure me or anything..its my own body. w/e i dont know :S i just wanna get over him..but how do i do this when there's no actual reason to get over him. He hasnt done anything bad to me..but dont try to convince me to stay with him. Caue i know that i need to break up with him, but its hard you know.. and its not like i have any other guy that i can use to get my mind off of him..so what do i do?

Just nicly tell him you dont think you should go out anymore. If he wants to know why just tell him u just want to b friends. It is a kinda easy way to break up with someone, and is obvious, but in your situation there is nothing else you really can do. I hope i helped. :)

My Best Friend ( Katie ) just met this other girl. I totally don`t mind her hangin out with other people, but this girl does drugs and things like that. Katie is startign to hang out with Lauren more and more cause they both like the same "punk" music and they love doing goth-like things ( i dont like lables but thats just how they put it ) I`m more of the preppy, country music, shopping, french manicure type girl. If she wasnt even that sure if she wanted to go with him tell her that u kinda like him. that way if he asks you it wont be a huge shock. but if he does ask you to go ask your friend if it would bother her, if it would tell the guy that u think it would bother your friend and you dont want anything to be weird. Still hang out with your guy friend at the dance. just dont do anything to mess anything up with your friend. afterall...hes just a guy :)

OK, so I'm average height, average weight. My best best best best friend is this girl, let's call her Patricia. Well Patricia told my other friend "Lucy" that I was thinking of wearing a leotard for halloween, and that I would look fat in it.
Patricia doesn't know I know she said that, but Lucy told me. I'm scared to talk about it with Patricia because we have such a good time together and we see each other alot, but its kind of eating me up inside. She knows im sensitive to this subject because I was chubbier when I was younger.
What should I do?
shes is obviously not a that great of a friend if she called to fat behind your back. ask her about it and dont let her know it bothers you. You should still wear the leotard. as long as you feel comfortable wearing it who cares. Im sure you will look better than "Patricia" anyway ;)

im scared.
my parents are in a fight. THEY FIGHT ALL THE TIME. they cant go at least 3 months without having a huge fight. theyve fought for as long as i remember. i always cry when they fight cause they yell so much, and say such horrible things. but they ALWAYS get over it, and forget it ever happened. but my dad has such a bad temper. he doesnt abuse her or hit her, he just breaks things when hes mad. and today, someone punched him becus there was a party across the street, and some guy decided to be a wisecrack and park right in front of our garage. so my dad asked him to move it, and the guy punched him, and my dad punched back for self defense. and this really scared me. but im so sick of my parents fighting. i dont know what to do, or who to go to becus they ALL SAY THE SAME THING;; "itll be ok. theyll get over it." or "you should talk to them about it and how you feel." but NOTHING I DO OR SAY will help them. ive tried so many times. i really need help. i just feel like bursting out in tears. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE HELP ME.
Wow. This is really hard. there is nothing you can do though to stop this. talk to a friend. let things out and you will feel better. I know it would be hard to talk about it to your parents because it would be very aquward. So like i said just let it out to someone you are close to, or try to get out of the house when you know tension is high. I hope i helped and good luck! :)
Whats the point of a homecoming? Is it just a dance? What would I wear? Is it something really special?
My first homecomeing was yesterday and it is a game and then a dance. the game was really fun. A lot of people were there and they announce the queen and king. the dance was fun, but it was mostly freshman. if you are older and never been for some reason, you probally wont be into it. I expecially think you should go to the game because it its really fun(mostly because all your friends are there). but u should also go to the danse at least once, it is a good experence. I dont know about your school but most schools homecomeings are casual. The one where u dress up is winter formal. Just wear whatever you would wear to school.

My best friend always gets into arguements with her dad. And now she wants to move back in with her mom. And that means she'll be switching schools, and moving like 30 minutes away. And I don't know what to say to her. I want her to stay, and I've tried everything to get her to stay. Can someone please help me with this? I really don't want her to leave me. Because if she moves, my other best friend is going to move schools to a Lutheran school because she doesn't want to deal with having her move... What should I do?
Tell your friend how you feel. Let her know how sad you would be if you didnt go to the same school. If this doesnt work and she still switches school it really wont be as bad as you think. Me and a friend went to school for many years and one year she moved and had to start a new school. i was very upset but after the year started i wasnt that bad. If you have and other friends try to hang out with them more or even try to make new friends.Join a sport or a club you might find a new really good friend, you never know.
