Juicygirl answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 8:09 pm: There's no "legal" age to have sex. The only thing i can think of what you're trying to say is statutory rape. It is a CRIME committed when someone of or over the age of consent, 18 (differs depending on state) has sex with someone below the age of consent, it is considered statutory rape, even if both parties consent. STATUTORY RAPE IS NOT THE SAME AS RAPE. Rape is some form of sexual intercourse against the will of the victim or by a threat.
Condoms offer less than 99.8% protection against pregnancy and can protect against some STD's, so it is possible to get pregnant even when using a condom. There is some chance that a woman can get pregnant, even if her partner withdraws before ejaculation since a small amount of semen leaks out during sexual intercourse. Abstinence is the only way to be 100% safe ;) [ Juicygirl's advice column | Ask Juicygirl A Question ]
tasuki answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 8:01 pm: It depends on where you live. In most places, the age of consent is 17 or 18. But like, in Hawaii, I think it's 14. However...if you're a sixteen-year-old having sex with your 19-year-old boyfriend (and I mean, it's a SERIOUS relationship, not like you just think he's hot so you make out with him), you can still have sex...the laws aren't really enforced that much, it's just to protect twelve-year-olds from being raped. And yes, even if you use a condom, you can still get pregnant because sometimes they break. In fact, condoms aren't really made to prevent pregnancy, they are more for STDs. Birth control pills will prevent pregnancy but they will give you heart problems. I know everyone hates to hear it, but the best way to not get pregnant is to not have sex. GDROB answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 8:00 pm: The law is different by State or Province or Country. What remains the same is an adult is someone 18 or older and cannot have sexual relations with those younger than 18. Most laws I have read do in fact have a legal age a person can engage in such activity so that someone older or more mature under 18 is not seen violating a trust. Typically, the laws I see say 14 is the age. Why? because a person younger can not make huge decisions like that and for safety. [ GDROB's advice column | Ask GDROB A Question ]

sbloemeke answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 7:49 pm: There is no minimum age, but an 18 year old or above having sex with anyone 16 or below is immediately deemed as rape.
Yes, the girl can get pregnant with a condom. They are 99% effective. And if you withdraw, there may be sperm at the tip, and that can cause pregnancy as well.

EvilCheshire answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 7:39 pm: In some states it's different. I know that sex with minors is a no, no. Though there are exceptions to the rule.
Before you have sex you want to make sure that you're both absoultely mentally mature enough to handle the act.
A) If the condom has a hole in it it's possible that you can get pregnant when he ejaculates inside of you. It's always best to get another form of contraceptive incase accidents like this happen. The pill is wonderful if you're good at reminding yourself daily to take it, if you want something more simple you can get a shot that you only have to take once every three months.
x33CrYsTaLx0x answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 7:32 pm: i dont think theres a legal age, but if hes over 18 and your not, or if your over 18 and hes not, then thats illegal.
yeah he can, but it would be safer if he did. cause if the condom is on .. then the cum goes in the condom, not the girl .. unless theres like a hole or tear in it. no you can't get pregnant unless his cum gets in you. * crystal [ x33CrYsTaLx0x's advice column | Ask x33CrYsTaLx0x A Question ]

K2204 answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 7:29 pm: yes you can get pregnate with a condom on, there is a 33% failure rate when using a condom, that means 33% of the time condums are used CORRECTLY they dont work.
there is still a 75% chance when using the "withdrawl" method of birth control.
The guys still ejaculates when he is inside of you, the condom holds the sperm.
when a guy does have an ejaculation there is something some kind of a liquid that washes through him and it cleans him out, and there can be little drops of sperm left on the end of his penis that can get inside of you.
also, sperm can live in the female for around 6days.
I am in child development I and we just recently learned all of this.
karenR answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 7:24 pm: Condoms can break, but not often. If so, then a girl can get pregnant. Other than that you can safley stay in so long as you're wearing a condom. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
