Most of them are just normal people with problems just like you and me. They need help really bad, and it's uncomfortable to actually ask it in person. They can sound really stupid when they're desperate. On the Internet, you can be anybody and you can stay anonymous if you want to, so the person doesn't need to worry about being made fun of, or be stressed about what other people think because nobody knows who they are.

That's all a matter of opinion. As younggrandma said: "Some are, some aren't." Judging purely on the way you've gone about this topic.. I'd venture to say that YOU'RE seemingly not the most intelligent and thoughtful on Advicenators....

Usually, if someone appears stupid to you...its a pretty good bet you'd be right. :)

Which people? People who ask questions, or people who answer them? Frankly I think that yes, they may possibly all be stupid. I mean, if you want advice- ask someone qualified or who knows you well, not a random stranger off the internet.
But then I think people in general are stupid- it's not just confined to advicenators.
