This guy......
Ok me and my friend recently went to the movies and we missed our show so we were jsut hanging out and talkting to this really hot guy.So we told him we would come back next friday ( because he works there) and so I asked my mom and she said she wanted to go but she would just see another movie.I really dont want her to go so how should I say that without hurting her feelings??Should I say just goo shopping or something?!?!

Moms can be tricky, so I say find out whether is wants to go to check this guy or is wants to go to be with you. If it's to check up on the guy, then there is most likely no way you're going to talk her out of it. But if she wants to go to be with you then see if she would like to reschedule so that it can me just the 2 of, a girls day out.

well if your mom wants to see another movie, it just might work out.or you could just tell her the real reason you want to go , who knows she just might understand, and she would feel like she could trust you.

Why don't you go into your movie, let your mom go to her's, and then you can leave yours to go talk to him. It shouldn't be too hard!

sticky situation, but i have an idea..ask your mom what movie she is going to see...when she answers be like
"oh i want to see that also! we should see that together..it can be like a mother/daughter thing! " and suggest seeing it saturday or sunday..that could work...if that plan doesnt work for some reason..just go shopping but maybe while your mom is seeing the movie (if she still goes) sneak over and visit the guy. no mattter what you decide..dont do or say anything to really hurt your mom.

I remember running into this problem....
Ask your mom what movie it is that she is wanting to see, when she responds tell her you wanted to see that too. Then recommend that you see this movie with your friend, then promise her you will see her movie with her another day. It usually works just fine.

yeah, maybe you should tell her to go shopping or go out to dinner with her friends or something, and tell her that you and her can just go to the movies together some other time.
