Teen_Guru answered Wednesday September 14 2005, 4:13 pm:
Depending on your definition of “love” will depend on whether one can or not. If love is the “infatuation” or “liking of each other” between two individual, then maybe. However if you go by the definition that states (as I call it True Love) “…Love is the bond the binds two individual together that grows though all of life’s hardships and beyond death’s grip….” Then I would say no for one reason, for one to find “True Love” you must first do the key word GROW. I know everybody wants to believe they will find “True Love” early in life; this is due to the large impact in our society one trying to grow up too fast and try to find that PERFECT mate. Well I hate to be the deliverer of bad tidings but that is not how it works. True you may be smitten by someone, and have a liking to them, but “True Love will not come till you actually know them, not just the masks everyone puts on for others to see (or in others words; in almost everything we do with other people, put on our best front.)

I hope this helps you out. Let me know if I did.

And don’t worry, you will find this “True Love” that I have spoken of, if you be patient.

Best of luck.

You could, but it takes a really smart and mature 13-year-old to figure out the difference between love, lust, and infatuation. But yes, you can be in love at 13, it's possible to be in love at any age.

LittlePip answered Wednesday September 14 2005, 1:21 pm:
Love is SO confusing.

To be honest, 13 is a young age. Most teenagers have a very confused and curious state of mind at that age. You may think you love someone, but when you're older and you look back upon it, you may see it as a typical crush.

The definition of 'Love' will change as you mature and I'm sure in time you will figure out whether it is Love or just a simple crush.

And hey, what if it is a simple crush? 13 is a tender age, you have the rest of your life to fall in Love.

I suppose you could. But by the time you grow up, you and the one you love will be completely different people. And your feelings will have changed as well. Enjoy what you have, but I caution you, don't take it too seriously.

Yes, I think you can.

I also think that your definition of love changes as you get older.
