my so called friend knew i liked this boy, she was even talking about me liking him to somebody else. and my friend found out that i liked him, and she's being stirring rumours that arent true and she found out that the boy i like has alot of common things with me and she is trying to be his perfect image which is me i recently found out that they are going out what should i do
i dont understand why she didnt want to tell me to see how i feel about it
and now the person that i found out that she thinks there is something going on between me and him
she was saying to me the other day she's moving to california after her degree
help please i am hurt and confused

Sweetheart, I learned long ago that very few people you think are your friends are worthy of that title. All you can do in this situation is admit to yourself that this person cares more about themselves than your friendship and let her go. Go on with your life without her and hope she really does go to California and leaves you alone. The guy will eventually see through her, so don't worry too much about that realtionship. Just insert yourself in a friendly nonstalker way in his life and flirt a little. It may work out or it may not. Good luck!

Obviously this chick that didn't even bother getting the heads up from you on this guy is a childish brat. Don't let her beat you down, yeah you might like this boy, you could try looking for another one, right? However, when you have to deal with the rumors and constant drama about it, you only become more competitive about it. If you really dig this guy, see how things go between your friend and him first, if there is about the slightest problem between them, move in quick, though this could take a day or could take months to years if your the desperate enough to wait. Or you could even try talking to him about what she's doing, that may take some courage but it just might make him realize that he's seriously going out with the wrong chica. While talking about it, mention things about you that can make him get to know you without over doing yourself or making it a little too obvious. Be careful, some guys can be dogs, but if you really want this one, go for it. Gotta take risks and fight for what we want right? However, if you don't want to make a big deal out of it, its better off just dropping it and leaving it alone.

I would set her down and talk to her with it. If she rejects, well.. I guess shes not your friend. As for the guy, I would also tell him that your "friend" was trying to be his perfect image. Just go up to him and be like " Hey _____(his name) You know how you are going out with ____?(your friends name) Well, I have liked you before she even knew her, but then she found out that I liked you and then she started being your perfect image. It would really mean alot to me if you understand what i'm trying to say" And then end it with something like, so... you want to hang out sometime? The worst thing that can happen is that he rejects.. But your probably young... You'll have lots of more guys to choose from.

If you don't want to take him away from her, just try and forget about him, try and find a new guy that you like. He should keep your mind off the guy you like right now!!!! Hope everything comes ok!!
