Love?

Question Posted Monday September 12 2005, 6:42 pm

How do you know when you really love someone? Is there an age limit on love? How do you tell the differance between love and infatuation? Please help me, I really need to know answers and please don't say "you just know" because that really is no help. I'll rate good answers. Thank you so much.

Well, there's not an age limit on love. But to actually love someone then you have to be willing to give up anything for them. And when you love someone , you never wanna be away from them. Sry idk if that's the kinda answer your looking for but i hope i helped a lil*?

No one can ever describe love "correctly" or "incorrectly". This is because every person has a different definition of "love". "Love" has many different degrees. It depends on how strong you believe in the word. Anyone answering your question will only be answering out of opinion.

Loving someone can mean ANYTHING. You can love someone romantically, or you can love someone as a friend, or as a role model, or as a family member, etc. When you're "in love" it does depend on how you're using it. If you say you love your mom, or family members, of course you're "in love". But most commonly, "in love" is only used for a "lover" or someone you're having a "relationship" with.

Love is when you love that person no matter what. You can't suddenly "fall out of love" with that person. You shouldn't just like this person just because of their looks or something superficial.

This person does NOT make you insecure or self-conscious, they should make you LESS insecure and self-conscious. They should make you feel GOOD about yourself. Not only this, but you should do the SAME for them as well. It's a you-get- and you-give- relationship.

Think about WHY you love this person. Are they good reasons? It helps to look into the future. Is this guy HUSBAND material? If the answer is no, don't bother wasting your time on someone you can't see yourself with.

aw, cute. ok well, when your in love you smile whenever the person talks to you or calls you. when your in love you tend to get happy when their around. when your in love you would do or give anything for the person you love. there is really no age limitt to it. its just something special that you feel. well, if like a 5 year old said she was in love i wouldnt belive it but other than that ill belive it. just dont get too attached because that could lead to BAD things.

♥ Love is feeling that you cant really explain. There is no age limit. I think it takes lots of maturity though. You dont just meet someone & be like WOW IM IN LOVE! Its not like that. It takes commitement & offering each person something. Not having someone just take care of you. I have never been in love =/ But i heard its the most awesome feeling ever. If you have any questions feel free to drop one in my inbox! ♥ LAUREN

First of all, there is NO age limit on love. Whoever told you that is a jackhole. Love is a deeper feeling than infatuation. Love is something that you can feel in your heart as well as your head... You feel it deep in your bones. Infatuation is sort of like an obsession. And I know you didn't want to hear "you just know", but once you are in love, TRUST ME you WILL know!! Love is the feeling like when you wake up in the morning and even if your grandmother died that you were really close to.. You're still happy because of that one special someone. It's when that person holds you, everything else in the world just seems to melt away. It's when you get upset, that person is there and makes you feel better in an instant. When your heart beats faster and slower at the same time, when you get butterflies in your stomach when you kiss and when you see that person's face... Some of this may not make sense.. But honestly, when you're in love you WILL know. I know I'm in love... =)

I think love falls in the line of maturity.
Having a school girl crush and jumping from one guy to the other, isn't exactly love. That would be more infatuation.
I would believe love to be concidered more of a higher level of comfort.
would you stink up the bathroom if you knew he was in the next room? Would you feel comfortable giving him a peck on his lips before brushing his teeth in the morning?
Would you bend over backwards to make him happy? Would he do the same for you?
It's the little things that you know when your inlove.

Never doubt it, just embrasse it!

You'll just know... and there's no age limit. Eeneehoo, love is just some new feeling that you've never known before, and you feel truly happy. Like nothing can go wrong. And you feel it as right as 2+2 is 4. It's a phantasmagorical feeling, for lack of a better word. Hope I helped, good luck with him (her?), and remember to donate to the Hurricane Katrina victims! =)

Basically you have to think to yourself "Is there anything I wouldn't do for this person?" If there is nothing, you are in love. Otherwise, it could just be lust or infatuation, but love is a very deep feeling that has to be acquired. There is no such thing as love at first sight.

You can't see yourself with anyone else. You can pretty mcuh be yourself around this person. You would do anything for them, and you know they would do the same for you. Umm...you think about them alot and you trust them. And the final one...you just know. =) Lol, sorry, it's true though!
