Is this wrong?
Okay, I am a catholic and christian. Have been for my whole life. I go to church every sunday, and pray every once in a while, not as much as I should. I do believe in Jesus Christ and have strong faith, but lately I have become obsessed with exorcism rituals, paranormal, and OBE's(out of body experience rituals) I have tried many times to have them and they actually work. Sometimes I feel like something is trying to enter my body when I do this, but before hand I come out of it like Im fighting it off.. I am scared that I could possibly one day become possesed myself. After I saw the movie The exorcism of Emily Rose it really made me intrested...so I am asking is this wrong and what can I do to stop this before I get deeper in?

well possion is sumthign taht catolics and christion protestns all believe in as you know the arc-diasence allows exorsicms but to do any of this rituals and not be ordained well you should go to confession and talk wit your parish priest and then stop this it may be consedered witchcraft witch the lord is against ...i dont think so buut the church is against it

This is very serious. You are in a full all out war for your soul and you can't let the evil one win.
You say you called out the name of Jesus and it didn't work. I don't know what you expected to happen, but Jesus isn't going to wave a wand and make this all go away. He has the power to do that, but you have choices to make to access that power. Here is what the Bible says about conquering spiritual warfare:
Eph 6:11-17 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the cosmic powers over this
present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. The Belt of Truth is Jesus...Jesus is Truth. The breastplate of righteousness covers your heart. Cover your heart, protect it. Peace on your feet means walk in God's promises and you will have peace. In ALL circumstances take up the shield of faith....that means even this requires faith. Your faith will act as a shield against the arrows being thrown at you. The helmet of salvation protects your mind. The sword of the Spirit or the Word stabs satan, so get in the Word of God and start stabbing the evil one by speaking it.
You say you are a Christian, so I am assuming you are born again; that you found salvation through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. And you believe He is the only way to heaven. Not by works or praying to Mary or going to church or anything else, just God's grace through Jesus. If this is you, then you have all the power you need to fight the thoughts satan is planting in your mind. Satan can't make you do anything; he can only influence you and try his darndest to get you to choose him over Jesus. Don't let him get you; choose Jesus!
When Jesus was in the desert being tempted by the devil, He fought off the voice of satan with scripture. You must get into the Word of God and read, Read, and READ. Pray for the Holy Spirit to show you. Here is a scripture verse that you can use as a weapon. Say it over and over again. The evil one can't stand the Word of God:
2 Corinthians 10:5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to make it obey Christ.

Sounds like trichotillomania. I'd seek professional help, this has little to do with religion and more with your brain. It's nice (in my opinion) that you're trying to get God's help, but sometimes God can only do so much...
I'd make an appointment with a psychologist -- these things that you're seeing, feeling, and doing could have roots in depression, a manic/obsessive disorder, or other stuff. I'm no doctor, but I urge you to see one.

Let me ask you a question to get an idea of where you are in all this:
Do you have anything going on that would be considered a compulsion? There is mounting evidence a direct link between dabbling in the occult and self mutilation.
Do you have any symptoms like that? Something you wish you could stop, but you cannot?

Now if you are actively seeking out communication with demonic entities, you will only improve when you decide to stop.
If you really want this to stop, get on your face and pray. Humble yourself before God, and repent of getting yourself into this.

Okay i'm going to be honest with you because i'm a Christian and i have a friend who's gotten into literally talking with demons (what you're interested in communicating with) and now she totally regrets it. When you do these rituals you are literally inviting these demons inside of you. Since you're a Christian, Satan literally hates you because you have Jesus Christ inside of you. So he's going to do as much as he can to through you off in your faith and that includes getting you interested in these rituals and stuff. The reason they work is because this is REAL. Just as Jesus and His angels are real, so is Satan and his demons. If you continue to talk and communicate with these things then they will really mess you up. I dont want to scare you and say you'll get possessed but these things will be INSIDE of you just like Christ is right now. I'm glad you realize that Jesus doesn't want you doing this because it's wrong!!! The reason you're fighting this off automatically is because He's literally protecting you. But God does NOT approve of spiritually demonic rituals, communication, or anything of the sort. He literally condemns it all throughout the Bible. Try reading the Bible for yourself and see what God has to say. But these thoughts are coming back because you've already taken the first step or trying to do things unnatural. I'd advice you to stop immediately so things dont get worse. Keep praying to God and He won't abandon you at all. I'm also wondering if you're scared of this, why the movie made you so interested. To me, that's abnormal. You don't want to be possessed, believe me.

The exorcisim of Emily Rose is just a movie, it's not a documentary, and I doubt (no matter what they say) any of it's real. But your belifs are up to you, and only you can make decisions about it. I know it's tough, but you need to dig deep inside yourself and truly decide what YOU think about it.

That sounds kind of dangerous and if you're scared that you could become posessed, you might want to stop. I didn't think that out of body experiences were actually real. How do they work? Just leave your answer in my feedback comment I guess.

I dont think its very good to do that, especially because of your faiths, just think...would God really want you to be possessed by the devils demons, i highly doubt that...
