Question Posted Thursday September 8 2005, 12:08 am

Does everyone eventually get breasts like their mothers? Like if your mom's breasts are short and pointy, yours will be short and pointy too?

In some families, yes that is true, but in others, it's not. It really depends on your genetic makeup. In some families, the daughters take after the mothers, and in others, the daughters take after teh fathers, and some take after both and some don't look like them at all! Hope this helped.

Nope, you get genes from both sides of the family. This means that you could get them from your dads side, even though he is a male. So if you dont want boobs like your moms dont worry, there is only a 50% chance you will. =)

It's likely that you'll end up resembling your female relatives, but it's not inevitable. But in any case, there isn't anything you can do about it (apart from surgery), so it isn't worth worrying about.

By the way, studies indicate that as we get older, we come to resemble our parents more and more.

Not necessarily. My mom is a C and I'm a DD. Generally you can look at all the female members in your family to get an idea of how you might turn out. For instance: both of my grandmothers as well as two aunts are large breasted so I took after them.
