try getting your hair layered. they cut off your hair at different lengths at different places. its easier to manage and makes it a lot lighter. it also gives you hair a new great look.

Well you could straighten it with a CHI Hair Straightner, which makes people's hair look silky and smooth. I have really thick curly hair, but it works so well, no one can tell the difference. You can buy it at JCPenny. If you just want curly hair, use Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and Conditioner. Then, when you blow-dry (or towel dry) your hair and it is damp, scrunch your hair with curling gel. It'll dry thick and curly. Go to your hair-dresser and get your hair layered BEFORE doing all this for best results.

Hope I helped,

go to a hair cutter as ask them to thin it out , they take a special razor and it thins it out.

I have thick hair too, and whenever I go to the salon, they thin it out with a razor. I cut it a few inches below shoulder lenghth and have some long layers in it. I've got so much hair that if they didn't thin it out, it would be too thick to lay down flat. They don't do that with an electric razon. Just a little handheld blade that takes away some of the thickness. It might feel like they're trying to yank your hair off, so if you're tender headed, grin and bear it. It's always worth it afterwards.

What you could do is go to a salon and get it thinned out....but if u dont wanna do that...heres some styles that my friends with REALLY thick hair do: one of my friends just puts half of her hair up, like the front, in wat people call a half pony tail..i have another friend who takes her hair and puts it in a ponytail then puts it in a bun..or sometimes she braids it then puts it in a bun

Hope That Helps!

a messy bun is always cute on anyone and it totally goes with the "sporty" personality. If you feel like you just have TOO much hair you can ask your hair dresser to thin it..just a LITTLE..because thick hair is gorgeous and hard to get so you dont want to get rid of it all. you can also wear your hair half up half down so if you do straighten it you dont have to straighten that much. Hope i helped!

next time you go to a salon get your hair thinned out, makes it easier to work with
i have super thick hair too
pig tales is another style..or the side buns, not like princess lea, hah, but sorta towards the back more, just make pig tales and with another band flip them upside down so the ends kind of spike up and out...
you should, if you ever have time, straighten your hair before you go to bed. it makes it easier to deal with in the morning.
