Mackenzie answered Saturday August 27 2005, 6:04 pm: Well, you never mentioned his age, or how long the two of you have been together, but I'll do the best I can here.
If you're interested in getting him a store bought gift, try keepin' it simple. Spring for some posters, a leather jacket, nice cologne, a gift card, a nintendo system, or some DVD's.
Or, if he drives... definitely go for a *GAS CARD*. Those are pricey, but you also never mentioned your age and price range.
You could always take him to a fancy dinner. Another option... you could MAKE him dinner!! If you're up to the challenge, you could try stuffed chicken breasts with potatoes of some sort with a fresh garden salad and sundaes for dessert! Ooooh, or LASAGNA!!
And if you wanna get creative, how 'bout you just go to the park?? Bring a blanket and some music! And pack a picnic lunch, which doesn't have to be difficult. It can consist of turkey sandwiches on slice bread, grapes, watermelon, pretzels, twinkies etc. And make shore you bring a crap load of bread to feed the duckies!!
Another possible suggestion... you could always make him a poster or a photo album. You could deck it out with markers, photographs, quotes and so on.
How about making him some sort of little quilt with protective clear pockets that you can insert pictures into, and take them out to wash easily?
Just in case you were interested in preparing a meal for him, here is a page of a BUNCH of QUICK and EASY meals which can ALL be prepared in 30 minutes or LESS guaranteed!!!
This lady is my all time inspiration!!! I wouldn't suggest her if she wasn't fabulous!
*It's important to remember that it's the thought that counts with these things. Exspense doesn't measure love, so whatever you do I'm shore he'll love!! Just be creative and have fun!! :D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

crazygoober2006 answered Thursday August 25 2005, 9:42 pm: Well...my friend for her one year anniversary for her boyfriend, she made him a collage of pictures for him and she's gonna give it to him next month. If you don't have pictures...maybe you can make him a cd of songs that remind you of him or the relationship if you haven't made him one already. I hope I helped! jj_u_i_c_y answered Thursday August 25 2005, 9:40 pm: hey hun, im really cheap alot of the time. i usually buy a cd or a game. once i gave my bf a picture of us in a frame that said i love you. or something like that. it doesnt have to be anything expensive as long as he knows you love him.
sbloemeke answered Thursday August 25 2005, 9:36 pm: Just get him a CD from a band that he likes. Or a fantasy book. Dragons was the only thing that made me say that. Has he read the Hobbit yet? That has a dragon.
Just some suggestions. [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
