how old do kittens have to be to get fixed?
if i dont get my kitten fixed will she go through heat or will anything happen besides she can get pregnant?

I'm taking a guess, but I think they have to be 8 weeks old.
If you don't get your kitten fixed, she will go into heat, and fairly often. Cat's going into heat basically means they howl their head off...making for a few sleepless nights for your family.

well i dont relaly know but i had a catr that wasnt fixed and they set off a smell when there in heat and lik 20 male cats will come to your house outside and meow alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll night and alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day.... and it smells. dunno about the other questions

well i just got a kitten but he's a boy but a kitten has to be fixed at age about three months
or maybe more...but the signs of being in heat is the kitten is meowing funny and is acting real strange...

You can fix cats at any time... best to do it when they're younger though..
Yes if you don't get your kitten fixed, she will go into heat...
Signs of when a female cat goes into heat is that male cats start hanging around your house more, she wanders more and doesn't come home unless it's to eat... and the such...

Kittens should be at least a year old, I think. Thats about the time that I fixed my cat. you have to make sure that their sex oragans are fully develiped.
If you do not fix your cat, yes she will go into heat. They howl alot and search for a male cat, they also tend to bleed alot. [ those would be signs of being in heat ]
If you have a female cat its better to get them fixed to prevent your carpet from getting ruined by the blood. Unless you buy a diaper for your cat like you would do for a dog, but that tends to get annoying and not work so its better just to get her fixed altogether and be done with it.

my cat it already a year old and shes been through heat a few times and shes still not fixed. dont wrry about it. just dont let her out that much. believe me shell stay out all night. thats what my cat does. shes still not pregnant. hope i helped.

Well they have to be atleast three months old to be fixed.. No they dont go in heat if they are fixed and it cant get pregnant if its fixed.. and usually they roll around and meow alot.. trust me you'll know when your cat wants it.. ♥ Dez

well i think you are supose to wait if you can till they are 6 monthes old (i'm not sure why) but you can get it done earlier if you need to. try talking to your vet and see how old they have to be in order for them to do it(it may differ from vet to vet)

I believe they must be 12 weeks.
They'll probably start being in heat around 6 months, if I recal. She'll be really annoying, meowing a lot and trying to get out. After a while, it will fade.
I do recommend getting kitty fixed though. There are enough kitties in the world already. Plus having kittens is hard on a cat.

My cat gets more rammy. She runs around more and scratches everything up. Plus when you rub or pat their behind they raise it up towards you.

the youngest is 6 months old. some signs of heat are swelling in her stomach region and peeing often. yes she will go into heat. if she dgoes into heat she mite get pregnant.
