Do you think it is okay for a young person to have plastic surgery? I really don't like my nose but I don't know if I should say something to my mom now or just wait until I'm older. What do you guys think?

I think you should wait until you're older. Your opinion on your nose might change, and plus, your body might change, too. Personally, I don't think you should get your nose done at all. Flaws are a part of what makes a person beautiful :)
I'm also not sure if there's an age limit...my friend just got hers done a month before she turned 15, and she's not even satisfied with her look.

I honestly think that you should wait till your older for anything serious like that. Wait till your at least over 18, and see if you still dont like it then. Plus its really expensive, and its not 100% that you will even like it.

K. First off. Why change anything about you? If you change something like that, you arent who you were. You become fake. You change yourself to make yourself "pretty." That infact is a sad sad way to live. In religious terms..thats not how God made you. You arent meant to defile your body..I wont go into it...
However to really answer your question...I say wait. You're probably too young ;-) and havnt even grown into your permanent appearnce. We all change and who knows, maybe when your done growing, your nose will look perfect. Besides getting PS at an early age can be devastating to your body. Stuff might not meld correctly. Anyway...take it or leave it, its up to you.

I think you should be atleast 17...because getting nose jobs has major consequences that "teens" have a tough time dealing with but if you're okay with the pain and wont "die" if it doesn't come out how you expected...its fine

i think you should wait until ur 16 because your your body will grow and it will keep growing so what if you have your surgery and your nose still growing?? i think you cant get any kind of surgery until your either 16 or 18 i am not sure. hope this helps you out.

i dont really like my nose either, but i'm not planning on getting a nose job because i think people should just accept who they are. but if you really dislike it THAT much, i think you should wait maybe until you're 17 or 18. if you do plastic surgery on your nose while you're still in middle school or highschool, it might be pretty embarassing and annoying because everyone will be talking about your nose job. so just wait until you get out of school, and you can do whatever you want with your features.

I think you should wait, but you have to tell your mom first. I think you have to be 18 or older to have a plastic surgery. Hope I helped!

well im almost 100% sure that you have to be 16 or older so as long as your parents are cool you can. but i would wait, because your body may not be done growing and what can happen is you can get your nose job but because your body isnt done growing the hump or whatever it was will grow back.

I personally think it's okay for a young person to get plasic surgery DEPENDING on what it is. But other people would have a much different opinion. It's completely up to your parents on whether or not you can get plasic surgery. Depending on how young you are, it may not be a good idea. But I think in your situation, you should wait until you are older. Getting a nose job isn't something a YOUNG teenager that is still living with her parents should be doing. Wait until you are older, around 18 maybe even 21. Your opinion may change by then! Who knows. So I'd say just wait it out until you are older. I hated my nose for a while and now I have all these people telling me how much they love it and how "cute it is" now my nose is like one of my favorite features on my face. But talk to your mother first and see what she says. If she says no, then wait until you're older.

It is not a very good idea to have plastic surgery until you are in your twenties. Untill then, your body is still growing and changing, including your face. Your new nose might end up looking awful on your fully grown face. Talk to your mother if youd like, but I imagine most surgens will advise you to wait until you are definately finished growning.
