FunnyCide answered Sunday August 21 2005, 1:05 am: Well... the stuff you said and :
- Something to take notes in, a different one for each class to keep your notes organized.
- Folder/binders to keep you organized.
- Pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- A Bible (and I'm serious)
- "girl stuff" in case you're caught unprepared.
- Chapstick
- A little extra money
- Calculator
- Ruler
Where I live there's a list of supplies for each class for each school available. Check that also to make sure you have everything. Consult parents/friends to see if you forgot anything. It might be a good idea to bring a jacket on the first day because it might be cold in your school.

emotedardorxx4 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 12:19 am: Its pretty simple, the first day of school u dont need reallyanything, take like a notebook to write things down if you need to, and bring a folder to put the papers u get in there... The teachers tell you what you need the first day and usually say just have it by the end of the week, they dont expect you to have it the first day of course.
OrangeLuverr answered Sunday August 21 2005, 12:16 am: im a junior, and to be honest its different for everyone...bring the basics on the first day and for each class your teachers will tell you what you need...trust me..i had to go school supply shopping like 3 or 4 times because they kept giving me more lists.
vilelove answered Saturday August 20 2005, 11:46 pm: Hi. Pencils (not the same as pens... some teachers-like my algebra teacher-only like pencils) and 3 ring binders and paper (free sheets besides your notebook, sometimes you have to turn stuff in). Withe-out isn't necessary but it's good to be prepared. And of course, your P.E. clothes. Well I hope you like high school. High school years are pretty important because they build up a lot of who you will become on the rest of your life. But don't let the high school stuff get to you because in a way high school is a lot like Las Vegas... what happens in high school, stays in high school :-) [ vilelove's advice column | Ask vilelove A Question ]
azngemini answered Saturday August 20 2005, 11:42 pm: well, i'm starting highschool in september, and they told me that i should bring notebooks, pens, pencils, and calculators on the first day. what i really like to use is like a 2 inch binder for school. like a binder for all your subjects, but you seperate the subjects with dividers. that way you wont have to bring like 5 or 4 different notebooks around school all day when you can just have everything in a small binder.
Alpha345 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 11:15 pm: Something I found really helpful for highschool is a locker shelf. Like a little stand you can put in your locker, it lets you hold more stuff and organize things better. Great if you got a ton of books and binders and stuff (like me). It helps alot and you can pick them up at places like Target or Office Depot and the like. They are just little stands that you can fit in your lock to hold stuff, simple and they work really well. And better yet they are really cheep too.
Hope I helped and you get some good ideas!

P.S. Good luck starting highschool! You'll do fine I'm sure so good luck with that! And if you need anything else just drop something in my inbox. [ Alpha345's advice column | Ask Alpha345 A Question ]
emster812 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 10:41 pm: As in notebook do you mean spiral? Well, my sister also started high school a few days ago and she provided a 'just in case' binder for each school subject. staples and office depot sell for $1 each regularly b4 school starts.
Sorry thats is all I have. I'm sure your teachers will tell you what you need the first day so you will probably be ok.
Hope I helped and Good Luck!

rikatree2375 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 10:37 pm: Besides pens, pencils, paper and stuff like that, you won't need much for the first couple of days. Usually the teachers will tell you what they expect for you to have. Then they'll give you a certain date that you need to have them by. So as long as you have paper and pens, you should be fine.
