I have heard that headaches are often caused by stress, are you under any stress? I get headaches too, and I take Tylonal. I would ask a parents first before you take that though. I also suffer from a lot of stress, so what I do is go to my room and take a nap, read, listen to music ( but at a low volume level ), oor just watch T.V. Hope this Helped.

There is not an explanation for every thing. If you get headaches like that, almost every night.. You should go see your doctor. There could be something seriously wrong with you. I take Ibprofin for headaches, and body aches and cramps. That seems to help me. I really think that you should go see your family doctor and tell him the symptoms you have been having...

Drink some advil or tylenol for the headaches but remember lay down for a while so the pain could definitely go away.

Some things you might want to consider as possible causes... yes, if your period is on it's way, that may be a cause (that is assuming you're a girl).

You may also need to see about getting glasses or getting your prescription updated. I know when I need to get new glasses, I tend to get a lot more headaches than usual.

It may be that you've been having more tension and stress in your life than you're used to and that could be a cause. Relaxation, meditation, some deep breathing... these seem to help when I get stress headaches.

I know that sometimes when I need to eat and haven't done it in a timely fashion, I get headaches. Maybe a snack would help.

I listen to music often, as well. I don't think I get headaches from it. However, I know that when I have a headache or the beginning of one, the music tends to agitate it.

A few things that work for my headaches... I've always taken Ibuprofen for my headaches. I've read and heard that headaches are an inflammation in the brain. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory. It can work wonders for my headaches. Sometimes, though, we'll be out of Ibu. or I just don't want to take any. (I'm not fond of taking medications if I can get around it.) A nice dark, quiet room and some good rest may help. A cool cloth on your forehead, may help. One rememdy that works for me is to take some Vaporub (you can use Vick's but discount brands work, too), put a little smear across your forehead, across the nape of your neck and behind your ears. It might sound a bit nuts, but I've gotten some monster headaches that this has taken care of.

Finally, if the headaches beging to interfere with your daily life on a regular basis, the pain becomes simply too much to bear, or the headaches are accompanied by other symptoms (eg. nausea, dizzyness, blurred vision) see your doctor immediately.

I hope you feel better, Sweetie.

Good luck,
bound
